I would stay in this hotel again. Arrived at the hotel at 9am to drop off our bags, the guy at the desk was so, so pleasant so great start. Check in at 3pm was quick and easy. We paid more for a deluxe room, I would definitely recommend this as saw normal rooms in passing and there's very little floor space around the bed. Our room was lovely, the bed, the bathroom and floors were clean. The tea cups were not so that was disappointing. Hairdryer also didn't work but didn't need it so it was non-issue for us. Some of the sash windows open but need to be propped up and meant to enquire where the bathroom extractor fan is because we couldn't find it. Location is excellent, anything you could want to see in the city is a 15min walk and train/metro directly across the road. Our room was on the 2nd floor so we took the lift then had 7 steps down and similar back up again to reach our room down the corridor (may be an issue for some). Greggs, Starbucks and a lovely Turkish cafe right outside the front door. I didn't have breakfast in the hotel so can't comment but the dinner in the Hudson restaurant was lovely so I would imagine it would be nice? Also the staff in the Hudson were great. I'd be happy to stay again based on city centre prices and location.

Great stay from start to finish, very polite and friendly staff. Nothing was too much trouble for them, from Reception staff to Restaurant, Bar and even the housekeeping staff were extremely polite and helpful. Can't fault them for quality of service, went above and beyond.

Loved it and friendly staff who couldn’t do enough for you. My room faced a noisy street so first thing the next morning I asked if I could be moved and I was upgraded to a double quiet room. Some reviews stated the rooms were very hot so I bought a fan but there are fans available and I even brought earplugs just to make sure as I’m very noise sensitive. Very nice hotel

The hotel is convenient for many things and the staff are lovely and the hotel itself is done to a high standard. We had booked a junior suite and was duly given one in the west wing. I lay here writing this review at 03.30 due to the noise from a nightclub opposite on a Sunday night…….AVOID AT ALL COSTS

Chaotic, disgusting and disorganised. The breakfast was appalling . Burnt stewed coffee even at 0630 am, a 45 minute wait for raw porridge, no real service or availability and our conference made difficult by no options for faith or dietary needs even those these were clear and explicit in the contact . A chaotic joke of a business.
