Self check in with touch screens was great - no waiting or messing around. Room was a decent size and WiFi worked well, though there was the all too common lack of power points (one by the desk and another by the bed). I paid the extra £7.50 for the buffet breakfast, which offered a good selection - well worth...

I posted not so long ago that we had a really bad visit at this hotel in fact the manager invited us back and promised that we would be looked after and we would be moved to a quiet part of the hotel as well as enjoy breakfast with the hotel as well. I have to say I was second...

Modern building but hot Lovely Italian restaurant short walk away. Bathroom not very clean. Blinds not curtains the light gets in. Lovely big beds and large TV nice decor and modern equipment. We would try it again but will be very weary of little things.

Good service and pleasant staff. Good location for the North East (apart from the roadworks). Wasn't able to use all the facilities as a business traveller, there's not a lot of spare time, which makes the cost rather pricey

I have visited numerous different village hotels. They are lovely hotels, nice rooms and lovely food. The only thing that lets this hotel down is that it looks tired in places. The swimming pool area does not match up to other village hotels I have stayed at. When I walked into the pool area it felt very much like a...

My wife and I stayed here from Sunday 23rd - 25th March and had another nice little break. Stayed in a refurbished Club room and this had one or two advantages compared to normal rooms not least the big Samsung smart TV. Bed was very comfortable but unfortunately the coffee machine did not work so well, otherwise room was fine....

First time that I have ever stayed at this hotel and I was pleasantly surprised at how good it was. Polite and helpful employees, quality meals and warm comfortable rooms. Can't ask for anything more.

Myself and my partner stayed at The Village Hotel, Newcastle on Saturday 22nd April. We travelled down from Scotland for business/leisure reasons and booked this hotel as it seemed central enough and was only £65 for the night! As soon as we got there we were greeted by the girls on reception who were very friendly and welcoming. The hotel...

Staff friendly and responsive. Tassimo didn't work in the room, quickly replaced. Sadly I was billed for meals and the bar for items I never had and although debits are taken immediately refunds take longer so am out of pocket over £60. Didn't spoil a very enjoyable time.
