Stayed here two nights which included bfast for about £80. Room was nice, staff friendly nice free bfast although it did get a bit claustrophobic in the buffet area. My main gripe was the bouncer on the door who checked you off a list in the evening after a night out. It was absolute overkill and the guy was a...

I have just returned from spending 4 nights in Newcastle for New Years with my boyfriend and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The hotel is incredibly close to the train station so we didn't need to heave our bags far at all and is in a great location for the city centre! When we arrived, they gave us a twin...

We stayed here for two nights during the month of december. The location is perfect! Breakfast is good and what was very pleasant, the staff are very friendly! We stayed close to the center of NCL and also close to the stadium. 2 reasons why we visited this city.

This is definitely a Holiday Inn Express. Typical clean hotel rooms with friendly staff and a mediocre breakfast. Our room was ready at noon when we arrived which was an excellent treat. The beds were on the harder size and the room was smaller than I am used to at an Holiday Express (I would compare it more to an...

Booked here while in Newcastle to see madness at the arena. Lovely clean hotel. Car park next door to hotel although it's a public 1 so you have to pay for during the day free on a nite. Good breakfast could have had more choice to go with the fried breakfast. Biggest down fall we ordered a double room this...

I'll start with the positives as there were plenty. Firstly location wise the hotel is perfect for the train station, the metro arena the O2 academy and the city centre. There is parking at the multi story next door to the hotel which is free between 5pm and 8am, for 24 hours it cost £7.00, which is reasonable. Staff were...

The Holiday Inn Express Newcastle is typical of most Holiday Inn Express hotels. The hotel is a short walk from the town centre shops, restaurants and railway station. The bedroom was clean and tidy and the mattress comfortable. Breakfast was standard fare being a buffet of English and continental. The staff were courteous and polite. Recommended.

Location was great, very near the train station and also the Radio Arena (we were in Newcastle for a concert) Room was very clean and bed was super comfy. Only thing I don't like are the cheap toiletries attached to the wall like a public bathroom, but that's standard with budget hotels. One complaint - they didn't cater well for...

You get what you pay for with this hotel. Basic room, no frills. But was clean, bed was comfortable, shower was nice. I was courtside so was quiet during the night. It is a short 5mins walk from Newcastle train station. Breakfast was a little disappointing. Free wifi.
