Bright spacious rooms, comfortable beds and excellent bathrooms with a separate powerful shower. The Crowne Plaza is in a very central location within easy walking distance of the train station and all the best parts of the city centre. Despite being so central it has a calm atmosphere and no traffic noise. The staff are helpful and friendly. We had delicious breakfasts in a bright and spacious dining area. The receptionist Diana is a real gem and made our stay feel extra special. Next time we will leave the car at home and go by train. They told us we can leave our bikes in a safe storage room.

Hotel was modern and clean, room was spacious and bed comfortable! Breakfast was good and staff friendly! The location is also great. We booked the room with the king sized bed on the 5th floor. Nice views of the city centre and good value for money!

Just returned from staying here. Lovely hotel! Pianist playing in the lobby when we checked in. Not a lot of information given at check in - had to ask where the lift to rooms are and how to make a dinner reservation etc. Room was spotless. Bathroom had a separate bath and shower. Air con and heater system in the room. Spa - quite crowded. Most wrist bands were broken on the keys for the lockers so had nowhere to keep the key. Very cold in the changing rooms too. Dinner was lovely. The young girl in the restaurant couldn’t do enough for us. Food really good! Singer on in the gin bar - really nice atmosphere. Checked out at 11 and was still able to get breakfast before we left. Overall a lovely stay, made even better for what we paid for it. We’ll definitely be back.

Good location for a night out in Newcastle. Rooms are good clean and nice. The gin bar was hand for a drink before we went out for the nigh. We didnt have breakfast cos we wanted a lie in enjoyed the late checkout.

Great check-in experience offered by Diana. Nice touch with the tombola style pick a prize competition, 5000 bonus points and a nice upgrade through my platinum membership which is always appreciated. My go to hotel when I stay in Newcastle, great hotel with great staff and service.

Stayed over for a couple of nights to go to the Newcastle game and found the location ideal. Facilities were top notch, the service and attention to detail by staff throughout the hotel was great. Tyrone was especially helpful in suggesting places to try and recommending cocktails in the Gin bar. Breakfast gave us lots of choice, and we thoroughly enjoyed the meal we had in the restaurant.
