The Neighborhood with a World Stage. In the heart of this Shakespearean market town is Hotel Indigo® Stratford-upon-Avon, you'll find us surrounded by the wealth of culture this idyllic town has too offer. Steeped in history and home to William Shakespeare we share our neighborhood with his 16th-century birthplace, as well as one of the most famous theatres in the world; Royal Shakespeare Theatre. You only have to step out of our door and you'll see New Place; exquisite gardens and commissioned artwork designed to celebrate the family home of William Shakespeare. You will recognize links to the Bard and reflections of Stratford's heritage throughout the design of our boutique hotel rooms, restaurant and bar. Parts of our boutique hotel date back to the 15th-century; a wealth of history and character. Although our facilities are definitely up to date, with flat screen TV's, invigorating rainfall showers, luxurious toiletries and complimentary WiFi.

We spent 2 nights at this hotel and overall a lovely hotel from the pre-arrival welcome call, hotel entrance, outdoor garden and restaurant. However having paid £400 for 2 nights we expected to having nothing but a relaxing stay however this was not the case. The room we were allocated was on the first floor right next to the lift. Therefore late at night when people returned to their rooms stood right outside our room chatting, all throughout the morning from 6am we could just hear the lift button being pressed, lift binging when it had arrived to the floor which resulted in not being able to sleep! The other rooms had another door to enter the hallways so this wouldn’t affect them. In addition you could hear the conversation of the room next door, very thin walls! We did raise this upon check out with staff however very little said and just advised they would put a note for a quiet room for a future stay. The restaurant for breakfast offered a great variety of hot breakfast options and a lovely continental display. Just be aware you have to pre book a time to go down to eat breakfast and this gets booked quickly so if check in later you don’t get a great choice.. equally if you eat after 9:30am on both mornings the continental breakfast replenishment isn’t great.

Excellent hotel, will now be my goto hotel when visiting Stratford. Staff excellent whatever you need it’s not an issue, exemplary service always. Room excellent, parking easy and onsite and location perfect as right in the middle of town close to all the major attractions. I don’t often write reviews, but would highly recommend this hotel, just book it!

Everything about this hotel was top notch, from when you walk into the scented foyer to the outstanding cleanliness of the rooms, courteous staff. I am quite fussy but nothing to fault at all. Breakfast beautiful would of loved to have stayed for longer.

Great Service, location and facilities, nothing not to like really. Everything I expect from the Indigo Brand. Parking reasonable, (lucky enough to get a space). Nice stylish rooms. I never seem to get one with a view, but it’s not a deal breaker.
