Unsurprisingly, Stratford-upon-Avon thrives from tourism, which can be easily seen when walking along the Grove Road, from the RSC, with one B&B after another. So why should you visit the Hamlet House? We were lucky when ordering the first best suggestion on TripAdvisor for several reasons: since we had only one day in Stratford-upon-Avon at our disposal, it was important...

I stayed here for one night with my mum We had a problem with Pre payment on line due to my credit card being fraudulently used and having a new one issued. Paul contacted me by email but said I could just pay on the day of arrival which I thought was very nice and trusting of him We arrived...

We were most impressed by this band b. There was parking out the front and only a 5 minute walk to the town centre. The room was sufficient for our needs with a very large bathroom. The breakfast you can choose between a light or full breakfast included all is freshly cooked and would highly recommend the omelette. Really couldn't...

Situated at 5 mins walk to the centre of town this B&B is very well located. We were there for 3 days in which the temperature began at 0 and went up to 4 degrees, The room was toasty warm, clean and a good size and despite facing the street was very quiet even when the traffic was heavy during...

Our second visit and it really must rank as one of the best places to stay in Stratford. We raved about our stay last year. You may book with confidence and be guaranteed a warm welcome, a comfortable room, a heart breakfast and all this within a short distance of all the attractions!

This B&B is in the perfect location to explore Stratford, the addition of free parking is excellent. We stayed in the family room with en suite, the room was clean and tidy. Breakfast was also good. Only improvement I would suggest is some biscuits in the room. Would certainly stay again.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
We have been established for 25 years. Hamlet House is a traditional quaint, red-brick Victorian Town House retaining most of it's original features. The Dining room has a wonderful fireplace with tile surround. We describe Hamlet as a "Bijou Guest House" deriving from the French for "Small Jewel". The accommodation consists of four double/twin rooms. All of the rooms are en-suite and one can accommodate a family of four. All rooms contain soap, hand cream, face cloths, towels, tea/coffee and colour TV. Free parking to all guests is available. We are the nearest guest house in Grove Road to the town Centre and only ten minutes' from the famous RSC. Current Theatre details (NB We will be delighted to obtain). ... more   less
