Stunning views and well appointed comfy and quiet apartment right in the very heart of this brilliant city. Only (very) slight criticism was the very hot shower- even on lowest setting it was hot! But apartment was clean, cosy and with stunning city views and oranges coffee etc to use was very welcome bonus. Will definitely stay again!

Lovey building and lovely location! You are central to everything. There’s nothing not within walking distance. Room was large and spacious and had everything you need. Staff were friendly and help and happy to help anything needed. Lovely.

We booked at the Rotunda for three primary reasons: great views, close access to transportation for trips outside Birmingham, and an opportunity to catch up on laundry in the middle of our trip. The first two reasons proved to be good, but I would not describe the Saying Cool experience as a modern boutique hotel. Although refurbished, the Rotunda is fifty years old and shows it’s age. We were greeted with a cold shower on our first morning and later discovered that the boiler needed to be reset (no instructions were provided). It’s not air conditioned, and despite the large windows that open, it would be very uncomfortable on a hot summer day (a fan sitting in the room is never a good sign). The washer/dryer is a combined unit, and we had to Google operating instructions. There were leftover wet towels in the washer/dryer, and a load takes a very long time and wrinkles everything. There is a lot of unnecessary effort required that could be alleviated with some simple printed instructions. Front desk staff were available but ultimately we needed to figure out solutions. On the plus side, the bed was comfortable, milk and oranges were provided, the coffeemaker is excellent, and Internet strong. It would be very easy to cook a meal in with the equipment provided. f you do not need to do laundry and can check to ensure you have hot water first thing, the Rotunda can be a good place to stay, and the views are outstanding.…

We had a fantastic stay recently at Staying Cool. The apartment was perfect and had everything we needed. We were there for business and couldn't have picked a better place to base ourselves. We stayed in a two bed apartment that enabled my colleague and I to enjoy privacy but also work together in the shared space. Staying Cool are a lovely, friendly company and the service was brilliant. The views were exceptional - we were on the 20th floor, up with the high-flying birds, and the facilities and furnishings were really lovely. The location was fantastic and we could not have had a better time. I would recommend this company to anyone, both for business or pleasure.
