We stayed here the night of a family funeral and we were looked after fantastically. the staff of this establishment are second to none - so kind, efficient and personal. We were very happy with our room, the evening meal was lovely and so was the breakfast. I cannot find fault and have only praise for every aspect of our...

Just returned from another excellent stay at this hotel. We were down for crufts and stopped once again at the old farm. Excellent service excellent staff and great food. Dont know many hotels that do such an excellent selection of fresh fruit on the breakfast buffet and a lovely full English cooked breakfast or like my wife's choice a tasty...

This hotel comes to you direct from the pages of an average 1960's DIY magazine! A room as big as Blue Tit's nesting box. A small double-bed that is pushed into the corner such that you can get to one end and one side of the bed. A bed that should have received a mattress change many years ago and...

Just spent weekend in Birmingham visiting relatives and stayed in the Old Farm Hotel. This is a fairly old establishment on the main road close by the Cadbury Factory. Has adequate parking which a big bonus in these parts of town. The is a bar and a lo guy and a nice garden out back. Now somehow we thoroughly enjoyed...

Very small twin room with tiny double bed and single bed! The mattress on the double bed was horrendous and obviously years old. The springs sticking up everywhere made it the worst nights sleep I've ever had :( on the plus side Melanie was a lovely host and the breakfast was fab!!!

I didn't book this venue for our Choir Christmas Meal, but had visited here many years ago. This visit was fabulous. Staff were extremely efficient and friendly, YES it is Christmas, but again, everything was just as you would hope for with an evening out with new friends at this time of year. Food was plentiful and well cooked. Personally,...

My husband was booked into this hotel and got very lost getting there; he was on his motorbike, bucketing down with rain and his mobile battery was dead. When I called the hotel and he had not arrived I was concerned; however, when he did get there the lady on reception, having established who he was, immediately picked up the...

Stayed for a week after moving back to Birmingham. Very friendly and comfortable, very reasonable. Obviously this isn't a luxury hotel, but it would give a taste of an English home, if you are visiting England for the first time. The surrounding area is lovely, convenient for station to Birmingham city centre and Cadbury world.

We arrived on a Sunday evening and were booked in for 3 nights. It has friendly staff, who were very obliging. We had room 6, which was a little cramped, with an extra bed in it and it was also blocking the fire exit. The room was clean and so was the bathroom. I found that the shower went hot then...
