Paid £92.00 for a double room for myself & my 25yr old daughter, birthday theatre treat. The room was very confined, but clean. Only 1 bath towel each, no hand towels at all. We arrived back from theatre at 11.15pm, the room was very stuffy & hot so we opened window, but noise was horrendous from the street. Lots of...

We are delighted with out one night stay at this Ibis hotel. It is right in the centre of China town in Birmingham, almost next door to the Hippodrome Theatre with numerous restaurants just a few yards away. Ladywell walk is a one way street with not much traffic so the hotel is quiet. There was very little noise in...

I have stayed at this hotel many times now. Before in the past it would be for work... but now it's for leisure. I love staying here as it is close to everything. .. apart from clubs at broad Street. It's a really reasonable price for what you get ! I stayed for 2 nights 13th and 14th April 2017....

You book a basic hotel and you get exactly that a basic hotel. A small bedroom, with not the most comfortable bed,a small shower room, a clean enough room, but a shame about the corridors. Breakfast was good. Not the best in the Central Birmingham budget hotel class, so given the choice available, I would in future chose to stay...

It will be very nice once refurbished completely. I had booked a large room as I was attending a trade show then would have meetings in the city / would work from hotel, so also booked a late check out. The room I was given was at the end of a corridor where I would have to by-pass workmen/worksheets etc....

I will certainly stay here again - great for the Hippodrome, although I was at a conference at the ICC (15 min walk). The room was a good size and clean, bed comfy, just fine. Staff were lovely - friendly and helpful. Interesting to be in Chinatown. Restaurant menu limited, but lots of good restaurants nearby.

Just 5 minutes walk from New Street Station/Digbeth Coach Station. Right next to Chinatown. Our twin room was small but very clean and absolutely fine for a short stay. Freeview TV and tea and coffee provided. Single beds were comfortable and extra pillows available if needed. No problem with temperature as mentioned before but I can see this could be...

This place is made by its lovely friendly staff who seem to fulfil all roles - reception, waiters, ?cooks? , barstaff. Thankfully they seem really enthusiastic and open-hearted. It's a 5 minute walk from New Street station (across a few roads) right next to the Chinese district and the Bullring - very convenient. The room was clean, including the shower...
