The Westmead has become our first choice when visiting family in the area, from the USA. We like the friendly staff, the breakfast's are excellent and the rooms spacious and well appointed. We like that it is a little out of the way, and is overall a quiet hotel. Parking is great also, and free wifi is an excellent value... More

For the price this is a really good value ... Good room and wifi suitable for working from the hotel. was travelling on business alone. However, there was a large party in the restaurant and I felt ignored by staff and had to wait 40 minutes even for bread to be brought to my table while larger parties were attended... More

My wife and I celebrated my retirement with a fantastic 3 night stay D.B.B.The attention to detail was exceptional. The hotel said when the weekend was booked that they would make the weekend stay special, and it was. The evening meals were superb, what fantastic steaks. Thank you to Ben and all his staff. Stayed here as a guest at a wedding ... the wedding reception itself was good, room was fine, wedding meal was great. Unfortunately a less than pleasant experience the night before the wedding when our request for food seemed to annoy a staff member who was on service.

Very little to criticise about this hotel - the room was newly refurbished, and a nice bunch of flowers (Lilly's) had been left in the room which I felt was a nice touch. In addition, I would like to highlight the exceptional afternoon tea which is more akin to something you'd find in a 5* Central London property. All requests... More

Very pleasantly located and friendly hotel. Helpful staff and comfortable good sized room with massive bed!! This was a business trip to the NEC and being tired we would have liked to have eaten in the hotel but the menu looked a bit pricey for our needs. Breakfast at £20 for the two of us seemed a little excessive and... More

Stayed here as it was close to where I was visiting,it was short notice and not too expensive. When we arrived there was a wedding going on which was ok. The problem started when the kids from the wedding were still running around the corridors late into the night. Following a poor nights sleep wanted a shower to revive myself... More

Stayed here on a Friday night for an event, which was conveniently located near by, and was impressed with our stay. The room was clean and a good size. The bed was comfy and, had we had the chance to order, the room service seemed acceptable. My only gripe was that we tried to order a taxi to collect us... More

We stayed here with friends as we were attending the Fusion Festival. This is quite a large hotel with about 60 rooms. From the outside it looks lovely and the same when you enter reception. As we got to the hotel before 2pm and could not check in, we decided to have a few drinks and lunch in the bar... More
