We had a carvery here to celebrate our son's baptism at the end of Feb 2016. We cannot praise the service enough. Christine and Julie helped to plan every detail, and were so personal in their service to us. On the day Lucy and Lynn were so well briefed and made sure everything went really smoothly, even with our rabble...

We stayed in the hotel annex where the room was in need of some TLC. The bathroom was very tired with much of the trim around the bath being loose. Staff were great but the hotel does need a makeover.

Have stopped here on several occasions and have always been upgraded. Rooms are large clean and modern. Staff are always friendly and helpful. Food in the restaurant is always good and so is the breakfast. I would happily recommend it and stay again

after a 4 hour trip, turned up at 4.30 p.m and our room was not prepared. a frosty welcome and we were promised they were right on it! 20 minutes later and we are still loitering in the foyer with 2 tired children. No apology forthcoming. settle in for the evening only to discover our "family room" is directly above...

You know what to expect with Best Western. Nothing over the top. Just a good hotel with creaking floors. (No lift though). Nice welcome, good sized room, very clean and tidy. No noise or disturbance. Big pub with friendly folk (residents and locals) as well as a restaurant (last orders in both 9.30 pm). Excellent breakfast (well done the breakfast...
