This B & B was a true find. Katherine the owner couldn't have been more friendly or done enough for myself and my daughter during our stay. My daughter and I stayed in a double room which was spacious and spotlessly clean. The bed was extremely comfortable, made even better with the plush feather pillows and duvet. After a great...

This family run hotel is a real find. Katherine who runs it, contacted me directly as I had booked on-line and requested a late check in. She was so friendly on the phone. When we did check in, I was greeted almost like a family member. Guests are treated as friends and there are clearly many regulars! My room was...

One of the best breakfasts we've ever had, staff very friendly and attentive (twice offered additional toast over brekky!). Loses one star because the pillows were far too soft and flat, we kept having to readjust throughout the night.

The owners couldn't have been more friendly. They even dropped us off at a local restaurant. The first time I've stayed in a B & B for 10 years or so. Had my reservations as I'm very much used to the corporate hotels nowadays. Needn't have worried and would recommend this place if visiting the NEC.

This friendly B&B is an absolute find, homely, welcoming and just can't be beaten to be honest! I really can't recommend it enough. We travelled daily to the NEC without any issues, there is a good choice of local very good restaurants for the evening and on evening we were too tired we were allowed to have a takeaway delivered...

In the nicest possible way, staying at Elmdon Lodge is like going to stay with your nan. This was my second visit - Catherine remembered my name (I stayed one night, a year ago!), greeted me with a hug and made me the best breakfast I've had in ages. The place is spotlessly clean, efficiently run, great value and did...

Very homely, very clean, very friendly, comfortable bed & pillows and a cracking breakfast, all at a reasonable price. Booked on-line as a stop off to break the journey between Newcastle & Bristol and really just needed somewhere to get my head down. Got a single room, which was exactly what I wanted. I would recommend this hotel to anyone...

We were a late telephone booking , as the websites said they were full , but it is wise to ring as these can be out of date. If you arrive feeling jaded after your journey then Terry & Katherine's welcome will be like a blast of sunshine. If you need cheering up while you are away , then this...

As someone who usually stays in hotels economy and luxury, I have only had a handful of B&B experiences over the years and whilst most were alright I was never moved to write a review, however my stay at Elmdon Lodge changed that. Unlike most budget hotels where you're greeted by a fed up receptionist going through the motions, at...
