Stayed here this weekend with my partner to celebrate my birthday, had a day in the spa to start with 2 treatments each, the neck and body massage and the full body salt scrub, we were both made to feel extremely comfortable and the treatments were professionally done, would both highly recommend. All staff in the spa were extremely attentive...

We went there for dinner with friends. We had a drink in the bar which was busy but only one person serving.....slow and expensive at £32 for 4 drinks. Then through to the restaurant which is charmingly decorated. This was the most notable impression of the evening. Two steaks were ordered but if you want peppercorn sauce, order jus and...

I really like it here. I used to work opposite and used the gym every day. I stayed here for 2 nights after I got married in the big room you see in the pictures with the twin baths and 8ft bed, which was really nice. The room I stayed in this weekend was Kendall. It is small and overlooks...

Decide to stop and remember we only get eight bank holidays a year, so tools down and drove to the Hotel Du Vin & Bistro for Sunday night dinner bed and breakfast. People travel from all over the world to visit Birmingham, yet we who live within 15 miles of such a great city tend to forget its there. The...

Fiona and I have stayed at the Hotel du Vin & Bistro often, because what makes this one of our favourite hotels are the people. We've had the warmest and friendliest experience here, as well as the most polished and professional. That's why we always look forward to coming back to amazing bedrooms and an amazing venue. Warmth, friendliness and...

Where to start, very disappointing evening. Awful food, prawns starter tasteless and burnt. Pate served with nothing! Had to ask for bread. And the main starter, sweetcorn fritters was absolutely disgusting. Burnt and very greasy, obviously didn't eat it and didn't get anything in return. Did complain, but the response was shocking. They deducted the price of the main course...

We went for an evening meal after going to a show. What a lovely experience. The staff were very friendly and professional. Food was excellent albeit a little pricey. The dining room was really nice. We will be going again.

I stayed 3 nights this week in the Henriot room (standard room). Check in was smitten, quick and warm. The rom is very well appointed with good equipment (decent TV, Nespresso machine etc) all in good condition. The decor of the hotel is stylish, chic yet not pretentious. The bathrooms are a real treat. Deep enamel baths and large rainforest...

We visited here for my 30th birthday and me and my mother had a great time, the surroundings were lovely and the service was attentive. The afternoon tea was massive and we could not finish it all but it all tasted amazing! We would defiantly recommend this hotel for afternoon tea.

3 of us went for a business lunch in the Bistro which was thoroughly enjoyable. My Chowder starter could have been a bit thicker with a little more seasoning but my main was slow cooked mutton which was delicious as were my Chantenay carrots. Far too much food to need a desert. The service was very slow, no excuse as...
