We didn't stay in the hotel, but the bar was nice and relaxed. We played pool for a bit and found everyone quite friendly. The toilets weren't pleasant though and were a bit cruisy, with a dark area with guys getting off with each other.

Stayed here for one weekday night for work. Great location, friendly and helpful staff. Refurbished rooms with great wet rooms some street noise if your at the front. Free hot drinks and snacks. Very acceptable. Most important feedback is that the mattress needs replacing. Other much more minors items are: (a) Would be great to have the hall lighting on...

Thanks for the constructive feedback Mike. We have looked into sensors for the lighting before but the they were not suitable for our system :( We will also follow up on the other things you mentioned to make sure we are staying on top of things here.

This is probably my twentieth visit over the years and it never fails to please. As usual the beds were clean and made daily. The under floor heating in the wet room lovely. Eric and Chris's banter between themselves made for a good evenings entertainment. Never change what you do. Can't wait to return. Check out the website for more...

My second time at the fountain, again allocated as requested, room 7. Like the first time, the room, service, facilities (especially the complimentary coffee machine) were 10/10. And like i said in the comments book..if carlsberg did hotel rooms, they should visit the fountain for ideas. I look forward to the next visit. ☺

We arrived on Friday evening, everything was OK, place was fine and room clean etc. Staff were accomodating when we asked for extra pillows/towels etc, and the bar downstairs was also ok. It was a little pricey - but it's in the centre of a city so I guess you get that. Only slight criticism is that the staff were...

If you want homogenous anonymous hotels then this is not the place for you. That said, we've now stayed in 4 of the 9 rooms and all of them have been decorated to the same decent standards- the website isn't pulling any fast ones- but at least they've been put together by a real person and they've taken the trouble...

The double room I booked was very stylish with a very modern wet room en-suite. The location is great for a night out in the gay village and the Bull Ring is only about 15 minutes walk. Lots of parking just over the road at £2.50 for 24 hours. Rates are competitive compared to city centre chain hotels and I...

Having booked to see a concert in Birmingham, and never visted the gay village, we thought we would book a room here. The accomodation is situated above a gay pub, our room was very well equiped, with modern interior and wet room. Spacious, well furnished, comfortable bed and clean. Tea/ coffee in room, with additional drinks available on landing. Friendly...
