The rooms are easily accessible by lift and stairs. The beds are comfortable with a choice of pillow softness. Tea/coffee/milk/sugar and kettle provided and an iron and ironing board plus trouser press. Fan but no Aircon. Bath/shower plus toiletries. Room service Available and bar and dining room. Plenty of parking and electric charging too. Reception staff helpful. A little pricer but worth it for the convenience.
The hotel is conveniently situated on Warwick campus for our sons graduation. The rooms are clean and spacious and everything is provided for you including a good selection of tea coffee and biscuits. The breakfast was plentiful and supplied vegan sausages on the buffet which was excellent. We loved the coffee lounge which had free tea, coffee and hot chocolate machines and free biscuits and fruit. Staff were all very friendly and helpful and obviously enjoyed working there.
The staff are fab, the rooms are great, the food is awesome. When you come to places like this, you do not expect this level of service etc. The restaurant is basic, with large tables, but when you go to these places you just want food/drink and it to be clean.
I cannot rate the standard of care shown to us by staff/management during our stay, I cannot remember all of the staffs names (apologies), however myself and a friend were 3hrs into a 4hr journey travelling from Newcastle to Coventry for an event, when our accommodation booked through booking.com was cancelled on us an hour before we were due to check in. To say we were stressed was an understatement, and after being on the phone to Booking.com customer service team for 3hr + who were absolutely appalling and left two females at 10pm at night without accommodation 4hrs away from home, offering us £25 in compensation, we stumbled across this place. We explained our situation to the staff at reception who couldn’t do enough for us and managed to get us a room to stay in , offering us a fridge for the room as we had a car full of shopping and the manager (Ann) left us free drinks at the bar . The room was immaculate, bed was so comfortable and everything was perfect. They well and truly saved our bacon that weekend and turned our nightmare into an enjoyable and stress free weekend. Thank you all so much for going above and beyond !…
Pros: Room 301 has a balcony and is dual aspect. Large bathroom with nice products ,full length mirror in room and good lighting. Could also park for free. Food in restaurant is tasty and decent potions. Cons: Close to stairs but long, long walk to reception and bar/ restaurant. No tea or coffee in room but free in bar/restaurant (although this is not convenient in the morning as the walk is so long).
Stayed for a conference in the same venue. Efficient check in. Service always helpful. Room spacious and comfortable. The restaurant stood out for having a wide variety of choice at breakfast and lunch and good food.
Efficient check in, plenty of parking, very clean, 20 min bus ride to centre of Coventry. Decent bedroom and bathroom. Very good buffet breakfast. Bar meals were good with some of the best chips ever. Proper coffee available all day.
Attended a conference this week - Friday 22nd October and the best experience encountered start- finish. Staff were all exceptional, on-site facilities fantastic, signage to the buildings is really ease of use and the hospitality was out of this world. Dinner Thursday evening was Michelin star and better as photographs show, thank you for such a warm welcome and an incredible business trip. Highly recommended
This hotel is located in a well-positioned spacious area . The bar and restaurant area are very modern and comfortable, great if you’re going to anything in the midlands. The rooms are very comfortable with most little extras and the staff are very friendly. The pool and sports Centre is just up the road and has most things you would require. We would defo stay here again.
We rang the hotel to ask for a room and it was late evening . The receptionist was ever so helpful and very informative as we didn't know the area. We had book at best western Stratford upon avon but it was disgusting so i needed somewhere quick for the night. I was so impressed on arrival. Lovely helpful staff throughout. Exceptionally clean. Lovely food, obviously no need to book but good job too as we hadnt time. Room was so comfortable and clean throughout. Toiletries, clean towels, tea, coffee and biscuits, trouser press, hairdryer, and more, free tea and coffee 24hr, and all for £80. I would happily recommend yo friends and family. What an absolute little gem.
