This is a little gem. The staff are always so helpful and friendly. Perfect location just off M6 takes 35 mins to get to Park and Ride at Sixfields for the Grand Prix. Amenities around are excellent including Tesco, Pizza Hut, KFC all within walking distance. Didn't use Brewers Fayre next door! Typical Premier Inn room basic but very comfy bed. If I have to complain about anything it would be TV was too small for a twin/ family room couldn't see it from all beds!
I genuinely refer to this as my favourite Premier Inn...I've been to a reasonable number across the country and have been using this one (as a stop off when heading north) for about 10 years now. Most importantly, I like the friendliness of the staff (especially Lesley who is always fun to chat to and does her best to help with anything). But it is also the location - there is a Brewers Fayre next door which provides a wide range of meal types at a reasonable cost, but there are also various takeaway/eatery options within walking distance (KFC, Pizza Hut, as well as a Nandos). Having a large Tesco Extra also in walking distance is good for a cheaper breakfast and access to other bits. No petrol but the next roundabout down the A road has an Asda with petrol. The car park for the hotel etc is huge so there will never be an issue getting parked (just be careful of the rather viscious speed bumps!). You can just about hear the noise of the motorway at night when everything else is silent but it is quiet so not an issue. We couldn't really tell what time it was when we woke one morning because the room was so dark....yet it was full daylight outside...good curtains! Yes the rooms are a bit tired/old but not needing anything fancy - everything that is needed is present and as expected with a Premier Inn. I'm looking forward to my future stays here.…
Attending concert at the arena, needed a hotel fairly near. This ticked all the boxes. To be greeted in a friendly manner and made to feel we mattered was great. Cleanliness/,temperature all great. Food available next door. The breakfast was really good too.
Stayed here for convenience to a visit in the area. On arrival we found the evening receptionist to be smiley and she had a great sense of humour, even assuring us that the helicopter was available should we need it!! She gave us good advice about eating in the restaurant and made sure we were happy with everything. The staff and food and drink in the restaurant were first rate and we had a lovely evening. Next morning we got a lovely goodbye from the front desk. Will be back.
The receptionist was very friendly and helpful when we got in the room my boyfriend sat on a chair and he could smell urine on the carpet so he shook some talc on it we did not say anything as we needed a disabled room and this one was the only one left one of the bath towel that he got had dried blood on it I did take it to the reception and the lady was sympathetic she asked me what number I was in and got me another one the bed and bathroom were clean and other areas in the room
I was apprehensive at first as a healthcare worker living and working away from home at the peak of COVID. Booked to work in Coventry Hospital, I checked in, was settled in and hey, I got to know the staff! Where do I start? The team was truly awesome!!! J & L's team was truly a God-send blessing to me and without them I could not have done this. I did not realise how the days turned into weeks, months and a year and over! This team takes you for who you are, accommodate you, understand you and your wishes (me - extra pillows and towel), have time for you, always available for a chat and God knows we had time for those - British, Eastern European & African History, Cruise ships, Plays, latest trends, Healthcare issues and emergencies we covered those. This was a place in the midst of Covid - I felt safe. The social distancing, hygiene, masking, nil other entrance to your room etc., it was great. It was scary, but we got through it as we were all in it together and the team was on top of things and never let their guard down. Safety, cleanliness, hygiene and security seems to be their priorities. Working from home, I have stayed in many different places - but from my heart this is by far the place I would call my second home. J & L and the entire team - thank you so much for having made my stay in Coventry so memorable and as promised - see you in July! The availability of other amenities within five minute walking distance made life even easier - fancied a meal - Brewers Fayre, KFC, Nandos, Pizza Hut, Star Bucks, Tesco for my yoghurts or the cinema, not to mention the free car park. This is the place to book if looking for a Customer led service at a Customer friendly budget.…
I have always used other hotel chains for all business or leisure stays as I viewed Premier in as Budget but I have been so very wrong. Lesley on reception was absolutely amazing. So friendly and so helpful I couldn't of asked for more, she went more than an extra mile to make sure our stay was perfect. Actually every member of the team I bumped into was happy and friendly and welcoming. The hotel itself was very clean, the rooms are modern and well looked after, clean and spacious and very comfortable. I have spent twice as much a night with other hotel chains for a tatty old and dirty room. I've been missing out for such a long time, I will be making premier Inn my first choice from now on.
Wonderful friendly staff, no fridge or safe option. Air con worked intermittently, went through 5 sets of door access cards in the first two weeks as we couldn’t access the motel or our bedroom. Rooms dated and generally require updating. The staff in both the restaurant and the motel were faultless and food was always fantastic and well priced.
I always try to stay in a Holiday In when on a trip as they are generally good value. This one was a bit of a shock from the price once I booked & definately not worth £144. We were put on the ground floor, but heard loud footsteps from the room above up to midnight & then from 6am. It was impossible to sleep through them. The room was very clean as was the bathroom & the sheets. The bed was not comfortable & the pillows were awful. They got too hot & were way to big to turn over without hitting your partner with them. The car park felt unsafe & was adjacent to a busy mutiplex cinema. There were only 2 spaces left when I arrived & as a blue badge holder I had to park the furthest possible distance from the entrance. The sole disabled space was taken by a Range Rover with no blue badge. I probably would not stay in another Holiday Inn that had these types of bed & pillows.…
Staff great. Heating did not work. Key cards did not work. TV tiny. Grubby in need of painting. Would have been terrible if not for great staff. I always used to say at least with the premier in you know what you are getting, good quality at a fair price. Not anymore.
