Stunning location, we stayed in The Chinoiserie, fabulous! We stayed at Coombe Abbey for a birthday weekend and also attended their medieval banquet on the Saturday evening which was extremely well organised and fun, and although I had a low expectation in terms of the food we could not fault it, in fact it was amazing. Lovely location to sit...

Coombe Abbey was a surprise couple of days with my husband, no children! Wow, as we were greeted by staff at the door we were smitten. Once settled in our totally opulent room with views of the moat and grounds we went to explore, we didn't get far! Cocktail were served in the reception hall, a huge area with cosy...

We had booked a table for 1330 for afternoon tea. When we arrived the table had not been booked yet we booked it 6 weeks ago. However after a while they managed to get us a table. The sandwiches we had were nice except the salmon. But so few of them. The sweet in a small tumbler was horrid. The...

Delightful afternoon spent with girlfriends having afternoon tea. Met at the front door of the hotel by a pleasant gentleman called Dan, who proceeded to show us round as we were a little early and took us outside of the hotel to show us the lovely gardens in the beautiful sunshine. Afternoon tea was delicious and all the staff were...

We stayed at Coombe Abbey only because of its proximity to the Hospital, as my Dad had a 7am appointment for a long awaited back operation. The whole experience was above and beyond my best expectations. When I booked the rooms I didn't have the foresight to request easy access for my Dad (not my finest hour I must confess)....

Perfect setting for a romantic break. Our room was at the front of the abbey on top of the moat. Lovely large room and massive bathroom with an amazing shower.
