A really poor old and tired and dirty hotel. My room actually had a full section of window missing which the hotel knew about but still thought ok to sell. This contributed to having no sleep at all the first night as the constant noise from the buses at the large bus terminal across the road made sure of that....

The location of the hotel is excellent for it is right next to the city center. However the service, breakfast and the reception staff (especially a lady staff member) are just too much to bear for the price one pays. My recommendation is the hotel is fine in case you are in Coventry for a day or two, more than...

I do. It like to be overly negative with reviews, the hotel was clean and warm. It how ever is lacking any kind of comfort, it is badly needing to be renovated and brought up to the standards that you find from city centre hotels. Broken bathroom seats, holes in the wall, light sockets misssing switches, old tv on floor so...

When walking in, I felt like I'd be through a time machine. In desperate need of an update, our receptionist was a character. Seemed polite enough, I debated running off to premier inn.. I mean it did the job, made me laugh. But probably the most dated place I've been to, my TV was on the floor, with an overwhelming...

The hotel is ideally situated in the centre of Coventry just round the corner from the main Weatherspoons, nando's and 15 min walk from the train station. I was advised by the staff to book through expedia to get the best deals, which i did. I liked the hotel even though it is looking quite dated. In my opinion it...

I have stayed here for 5nights ..My room is a double with ensuite bathroom which has been serviced everyday to a high standard.Nice decor in room, and no bad smells. All the staff that I have meet have...

The Britannia in Coventry reminds me of the Happiness Hotel from "The Great Muppet Caper": comically backward in many ways and yet strangely charming. Hotel amenities: No parking arrangements; best option is an unprotected public car park around the corner. No laundry service. No gym/pool/spa (although you can get a cheap membership at the health club next door if you're...

Old fashioned and tired. The TV was about 20" at the most, the bathroom looks like it needs a refit. My colleagues shower fell off the wall when he tried to use it. The bedroom fittings are original from the 1970's. The bar is OK but the restaurant looked uninviting, so we ate elsewhere. Probably the worst hotel I've been...

This is the worst hotel that I have stopped in for years, and my job takes me all over the place! This hotel is dirty, dangerous in terms of electrical safety, staffed by rude and generally surly staff and desperately needs a refurb or bulldozing. The hotel is best described by these photos that I have uploaded. They include the...
