With groups of men hanging around in reception, a restaurant that doesn't open so you are advised to order a takeaway, no parking, no wifi in the rooms and a a breakfast that was inedible as so dried up, I would not recommend staying here.

I don't write reviews, but I had to for the sake of anyone who thinks 'its cheap but it can't be that bad'......well it can!! This is by far the worse "Hotel" I've been in for a very very very long time! Accommodation should NOT be this bad. It needs serious attention.. the rooms are disgusting and really dirty. The...

This is a budget hotel with a lovely restaurant, basic but comfortable room and superb location for the Uni, Cathedral, shopping centre and bus station. Unfair to compare it with more expensive hotels. Limited menu, no room service but I just needed a short stay at a central location. This fitted the bill and at the cost is a real...

Rude and uninterested reception staff, Kept waiting for 20minutes while the receptionist checked on internet for cheap rate for guest. Fid not even have a clue that she should apologise for the wait. Stayed there for like so many times, the price is reasonable and the location is so convenient. The coach station is exactly on the opposite side and the cathedral as well as the city center is just a couple of mins from there. Proper British ambiance of the hotel which i loved.

We booked this hotel for one night as it was close to a party we were attending and easier than staying with relatives. It cost £35 for an executive double with breakfast - which is pretty cheap for a Saturday night City Centre hotel for two people. Check in was very friendly, lobby was a bit shabby looking. On arrival...

I stay in a few hotels. I've never stayed on one this bad. Firstly the good - the staff, particularly in the restaurant. Very polite, very helpful and very efficient. Just a shame about the arrogant duty manager who clearly suffers small man syndrome terribly. However, the rest of the place is nothing more than a dump. This is a...
