Booked into travel lodge for the first time and the lesson I’ve learned is never book these in the summer as I get have no aircon. We had 1 fan for 4 people and a window that barely opens, we never slept at all it was so uncomfortable. You would of thought in the 21st century and the heatwaves we get now a single fan was never going to be sufficient..

My friend and I were at an event in Coventry and stayed at that Travelodge conveniently on a weekend . We got a room on the 2nd floor and it was extremely hot. The fan was so small, and there was no air conditioning in the rooms. At midnight, we came to the front desk to complain about the condition of the room. The staff member at the front desk was quite elegant but serious, and we complained to him about the room and asked for the air conditioning. He gave us a puzzled look and said that I apologise for the hot weather, but we can't control it. The best I can do is to offer you two bottles of cold water because I can't install any air-conditioning in your room at this moment. And he was so clever that he asked us, "Do you have any other ideas so that I can help you?" And we were clueless. He said if any idea comes to your mind later, scan this and give us your suggestions. So the suggestion is that if your hotel can install air conditioning in the whole hotel, or if it is not possible, at least modify the windows to open to their full range, it will help with managing the heat in the room. Everything was too hot, including the room, the corridors, and even the staff member. Overall, it was a good stay apart from the weather. Thank you for the cold water bottles

We had a spacious family room which had a large double bed and two camp beds. There were tea and coffee making facilities in the room. En-suite was clean. Highly recommend and will definitely stay here again.

Everything about the stay was pleasant and worked well. I was particularly impressed with the parking as I cannot remember the last time it was possible to park without registering the vehicle at reception and being monitored.

Stayed here during commonwealth games. The room was lovely and clean and the girl Gracie on reception was so attentive and helped us during our stay. Will definitely return to this hotel again if we are ever in the area. Such a pleasant family stay. Thank you.

We had a lovely stay at the Travelodge during the Commonwealth Games. We needed to arrive quite late so I phoned ahead. The lady on the phone was very friendly and helpful. Check in was quick and easy, and the room was clean and had everything we needed. There is a Toby Carvery next door for breakfast, which is handy. Would recommend!

Parbhjit was awesome too! The room was very clean, everything smelled fresh and Parbhjit was so helpful as well. We would definitely come again to visit this branch of travelodge. We also loved how spacious the parking lot was!
