Average Premier Inn but with major road works going on. Be aware this is not clearly warned on the website and they work all through the night very close to the hotel. Really poor not more explicitly warned.
I stay at many hotels, including an increasing number of premier inns. Happy to report that this hotel retains the consistent standards of premier inn, with a great location for my needs (visiting family) with free parking and minutes, by car, from attractions and the city centre. Plus, there is always a very warm welcome at this premier inn.
Excellent value, friendly staff, and enjoyable continental breakfast. Busy road outside but didn't hear any sound of the traffic. The bathroom was very clean - because of mobility problems I would have prefered a walk-in shower but I should have mentioned this at time of booking - I will know next time.
Very helpful staff. A clean and comfortable room with a nice bathroom and shower. Situation of hotel was accessible. Car park was ample shame all the disabled bays were full of work vans by 9.30 in the evening.
The rooms are spotless staff very good recommend to all shops are close so you wander around and a third around corner adds Morrisons and killed overload try it we never go anywhere else when we go to !idl we wouldn't go no where else just that one and you could go rugy not far
Firstly staff who checked us in were great,,restaurant staff very friendly and breakfast was good, rooms clean as you can expect with this chain. However we were woken early by noisy roadworks nearby, when we asked staff they said it was on the website about it, well it is if you look hard and click on more on the relevant page, I doubt many would so they should warn you when booking
Paid probably four times the standard nightly rate due to the Big Weekend being in Coventry, only had one towel & although given a time slot for breakfast the staff seemed surprised when we turned up on time & took at least 15mins for all hot food options to be a served. Staff were friendly and helpful other than that & allowed us to book in early which was helpful.
Rooms were a great size, breakfast was good and great choice for all the family. We arrived with a fan in the room ready for the warm weather we had - great start. Most of the staff were friendly - chef and one of the women working breakfast (on the Friday) was so welcoming and made a fuss of the kids, really made our morning. Staff on reception were always happy and helpful. However the Saturday morning breakfast attendant made it very clear she doesn’t appreciate families and that we was not welcome! Thank god it was our last morning or we’d have had to move hotels she made us feel that uncomfortable. As always the chef was amazing, really happy and playful with the kids, but this other member of staff constantly stared at us as we ate, waved her arms in the air from across the room when my baby dropped a piece of toast (which we picked up straight away, didn’t interrupt her at all), made a harsh remark about my special needs child with what he ate for breakfast from the selection. Other guests at the hotel picked up on her attitude toward us and one actually pulled me to the side to tell me not to take any notice of her. Unfortunately this one member of staff has now pulled down my experience at this hotel and therefore lowered the score. I will never stay there again with my children!…
I booked 9 twin rooms and the agent that made the reservation was very helpful and assuring. We needed a safe comfortable place with free parking. Ease of booking, check in, comfortable beds and peaceful environment. Would recommend. We booked more rooms and others that went to other city hotels said they will come to Binley next time
We stayed in April 2022. A family with an 8 and a 10 year old. It was a typical premier inn! Clean and comfortable but not had a recent refurbish. I emailed ahead and asked for a room upstairs and away from the stairs. They replied that all family rooms were downstairs but we would have a room away from the stairs and thats exactly what we got. The family room was on the small side when both kids beds were in use. Barely any space at all between any bed. This premier inn does not have air conditioning. Outside it was 14c. Inside the room did not drop below 22, which was too hot for me. I wouldnt stay here on a hot day. Yes a fan was provided. There were not plug sockets by both side of the bed The breakfast was excellent, usual premier inn breakfast and all staff were friendly. We made a mistake in not booking TGI's for our dinner. (I resent paying a charge on my card, in case we were late as had a 3 hour journey and you can;t know what the traffic will do in rush hour), so I didnt book but as we left I checked the TGIs website and I could still book us a table at any time that evening so assumed we were OK to just turn up. I was wrong. We arrived at 6.30 with 2 hungry children to be told there was no table until 8pm. "Never mind" I said, we will go to the premier inn restaurant only to find it only opened for breakfast, not for any other meals. We were stuck and started searching online, and everywhere we could find seemed to be booked. Eventually we found a pub 15mins drive away without an online booking facility. We gave them a call and they reserved us a table and we had a nice meal which was fine, but be aware if you need to eat a main meal in the evening book ahead :) We used this as a base to visit the wave water park. Other than being a being hot and having what was almost a "quad bed" this was a great place to stay, with free parking. It could do with a refurb as it obviously hasnt had one for a while.…
