The Norfolk Arms fell well below our expectations and sadly reflected at least one of the previous poor reviews on TripAdvisor. The room was over-priced and not what we would have expected. There is obviously a premium attached to staying in the centre of Arundel and to having a space in the car park which was surrounded by broken glass....

We stayed in the main hotel building. All the staff were very helpful and went out of their way to make our stay pleasurable. Catered for our gluten free requirements easily. Location of the hotel is very central and car park very useful. Our 2nd stay in 12 months and we will return.

What a fantastic afternoon spent at the Norfolk Arms Hotel. All the staff were friendly and couldnt do enough for us. The setting is fantastic for a sumptious afternoon tea consisting of finger sandwiches, cakes and scones with jam and cream. It was delicious, every mouthful was a burst of flavours. The head Chef Mark Holland and his team (of...

Well located, just down the hill from the castle, at the busier end of the town - not that Arundel is a particularly busy town. Service was excellent throughout our stay and our room was spacious, well decorated and clean. The bed was also very comfortable. Breakfast offered excellent choices and we also ate in the restaurant, which was very...

Great place to stay through the BUYAGIFT Voucher. Exceptionally clean, great service and fabulous location, near to all bars, restaurants and shops, quirky, cosmopolitan town that we would definitely visit again. Only disappointment was discovering there were live bands in the pubs opposite at weekends, which we would have loved, however we had our 2 days booked Mon to Wed,...

We enjoyed our short stay at the Norfolk Arms hotel, good location, all town attractions easily accessible by foot. Rooms are good, breakfast is great however you have to pay to park at the hotel. We defiantly recommend this hotel.

Vert good hotel set against castle walls and although old it is picturesque and the interior of the rooms are all modern. There is a secure car park at the rear, important since car parking in Arundel is very sparse. Very well placed for visiting the castle, only a short walk from the main entrance.

Overall an enjoyable stay. Generously portioned breakfast and clean, comfortable room. Unfortunately service wasn't fantastic. Arundel itself is a peaceful, picturesque village for a quiet and relaxing getaway.

A lovely hotel and pub on the high street, a nice welcome for myself and dog. Very good bar menu, and excellent staff serving in the front bar. All food was very good, especially the burger and bubble n squeak, posset dessert very good indeed. Will return.
