I was at the White Swan to celebrate Christmas with about 20 work colleagues. Our choices of food were chosen ahead of time. We were crammed round the table like cattle, and trying to eat was like dining on an aircraft!! I and another colleague had to return pork chops because they were undercooked, and when they returned my meal...

A great pub on the way into arundel, has lots of different areas to sit from areas that can hold 10-12 or more to tables of 2, whats nice is that it still feels like a pub. I would recommend you book as its gets very busy for the carvery. The chef on duty had a personality today and was...

Staff were attentive, but without intrusion on our overall privacy; table well-served overall very enjoyable lunchtime family dinner at reasonable prices. Good sized portions and very well cooked and presented. Easily found and accessible, well located, plenty of parking. Very happy to recommend for families, such as our event, but also well-suited to ad-hoc business lunches and meetings as well.

Just wanted to comment on the friendless, efficacy and professionalism of the staff. All round lovely overnight, comfy clean room, good food, burger was top notch, breakfast too. Best of all the genuine smiley staff.

We have often used the restaurant on our way to Brighton and on the way home again but earlier this year we stayed over. The door to the room looked cheap and didn't fill me with hope BUT inside the room was lovely, clean, well fitted, lovely bathroom and views. Definitely a place to stay again.

We visited The White Swan today for dinner and we left very contented. Whilst the menu is on one page the variety is good and the food is perfectly cooked. The service was perfect and the barman/waiter was very good. Dogs are also allowed but it's worth booking just in case.

We dined as a group of 12 including a celiac and a vegan. All meals were really tasty and delivered together. They were happy to make small changes to the meals and everybody thoroughly enjoyed the meals.
