My family and I stayed here last weekend for a 50th birthday party, well from the very start the venue and staff were brilliant. The room was spotless and the food delicious; from the evening party buffet, to yummy breakfast to the Sunday carvery, such a brilliant weekend and made better as I got to stay at this lovely place....

Stayed at the White Swan for a friends birthday party there - very stylish bedrooms, clean and comfortable and an excellent breakfast with lots of choice. We had a room on the ground floor so easy access for any disabled visitors. We also have been there for the Sunday Carvery (which is excellent) good choice of meat and plenty of...

Although I have not stayed here, I did have a meal in the restaurant with my partner. The service was perfect, all the staff that I encountered were really nice, friendly and efficient. The food, absolutely outstanding. Good sized portions, cooked perfectly, well presented. Good menu offered. The best dining experience we have had in many years. I recommend a...

We visited this pub for lunch, six of us, and have to say that it is a very nice pub with an interesting menu. The service is very good . . . when you get it as it is way too slow. Sorry guys, but you must look around at your customers and not just stand behind the bar. Half...

The food in the evenings was excellent - good steaks and the crab salad and fish pie were very tasty. The hot food at...

Stopped here for lunch on the off chance and not disappointed. Good meals, Husband had turkey and ham pie, looked delicious and I had crab salad beautifully presented. Not cheap pub grub but very good. Thought £6.50 a lot for glass of wine though. Nice people serving and on reception .

Stayed at the white swan due to work commitments. My room (8) had a large double bed, bath/shower room, small tv with freeview and stuff for brews. Bed was a bit firm for my liking but I had no problems with sleep. Food at breakfast and dinner is definatley something to write home about. Despite being next to a main...
