Went for Sunday Lunch with the grown up children. Pub is really cosy and was busy with a great atmosphere. We shared the bread, olives and dip which is a huge starter enough for four. Also had a delicious stuffed mushroom. We went for the Sunday roast again delicious and very filling. Coffee and shared puddings all in with a...

Had Sunday dinner here yesterday for 8, a family cerebration and it was perfect. The pub has been decorated really beautifully, really lovely and Christmasy. We had a nice table and they gave us some balloons and the service was great, lots of staff on, as was very busy. The food was delicious. They were very helpful and friendly and...

Lovely lunch today with 3 friends. Top draw 3 courses and we finished the lot. Well worth a visit and was worth the drive for us. We'd had some back luck earlier in the day and were really hungry too..

We chose this pub/ restaurant for a family birthday meal after reading reviews on Trip Advisor and were not disappointed. This is an old fashioned country pub with open fires in several rooms. It's popularity was clear from the fact that it was fully booked out with people waiting and because we were a late booking we had a table...

Had an evening meal with my wife and found it fairly average.I had the rib eye steak cooked correctly but it was quite tough. My wife had the venison which was good but the veggies were really over cooked.Cheese cake for dessert was average but the chocolate fondant was very good.On the whole an average meal quite expensive

This pub was a real find tucked in the countryside. We stayed for two nights due to attending a wedding locally. The pub had a great menu and all the food we tried was delicious. The breakfast included was made it order and fresh, although the toast was always cold and overdone, everything else was delicious. The rooms were big,...

Went to this lovely pub for lunch and were not disappointed. We both had the special of the day which was salmon wrapped in pancetta and it was delicious. It was busy for a Monday and everyone seemed to be enjoying their food. Will definitely go back.

Based on previos reviews we booked for Sunday night on our way to Gatwick and arrived at about 3.00. The Pub/restauranat was very busy and we were shown to our room. We went down for dinner soon having reviewed the menu online and in our room. What nobody had told us was that the only meat dishes on Sunday eveing...

This Was myself and partners first outing with our new born daughter; And one we will remember, the food was great and service brilliant. They arranged a table that was pram friendly and then were more than happy to give us hot water for the baby's bottles. The food was brilliant with "proper" portions. I had a burger and my...

A victim of its own success I am afraid. A nice location and excellent location but if you don't book and it is a Friday or a Sunday, then you won't even get as far as the car park let alone find a table. Tip. Book. We have heard that it is worth it! Maybe next time....
