Visited Trents yesterday, barmaid and waitress very nice and helpful with a smile on her face! Boyfriend had the burger with Mac cheese really enjoyable. I had the jerk wrap which was average, would visit again if in the area.

I booked two rooms for my friend and I for a three nights stay. On arrival we found that the staff were very polite and welcoming and our luggage was willingly carried to our rooms for us. The rooms had everything you would need for your stay although I would agree with some of the other reviewers that they did...

We were able to check in early as we were going to a wedding and we're helped with all our luggage, suit bags, hats etc up to the room, which was greatly appreciated. The room was nicely presented, faced the high street and had a large bathroom. I could forgive the frayed curtains as the rest of the room was...

Booked 2 rooms. Both large and well equipped. The fridge is in the wardrobe with fresh milk. Large bathroom with bath. Don't like shower gel in large container on wall as can't reach when soaking in bath. The sink in my room was cracked. We arrived early so coffee outside. The staff friendly and helpful. The bed seemed it was...

We received a very warm welcome and were taken to our room. Our room was very clean but a little shabby not a problem, the bed was extremely comfortable lovely feather pillows. The room was quite warm but got off to sleep, great. We were rudely awoken at 4am by delivery men unloading and chatting loudly, managed to get back...

Very quiet but that is how it seems to be now on a Sunday evening in Chichester. Therefore surprising that food took a long time to arrive. Nice fish and chips, not sure bigger version of said dish is worth it. Lovely waitress.

We are a group of customers who meet regularly for Breakfast at Trents, and have been coming here for years. It saddens us to contribute such a poor review, following a very disappointing service this morning. Our English Breakfasts were diminished to meager portions of one blackened sausage, a small portion of baked beans, one hash brown, an egg and...

Visited Chichester 2016 and discussed stating at Trents with staff. Booked to stay March 2017 for 3 nights bed and breakfast. Staff very helpful - BUT - breakfast non existent. No cereal, no fruit no fruit juice. Choice of a cooked breakfast was limited and when it was eventually served 30 minutes later it was cold, so small it was...

Serious electrical problem discovered in the morning hidden behind the towels, with exposed wiring on the heated towel radiator in the ensuite- accident waiting to happen. English breakfast not fresh- precooked and reheated. No complimentary fresh juice in the room as advertised. Loud music playing in the bar...

Needing a place to stay when booked for two performances at Chichester Theatre. Central position and an easy walk from station (so avoiding the usual car parking problems). There is a small public car park at the rear of Trents but this is used by all and is often full. Rooms are above the pub on the High Street so...
