The room was so dusty. I could write my name in the dust on the lampshades. The bathroom had black mould on the ceiling and all around the shower. The toilet didn't flush properly. I took pillow cases off and the pillows were absolutely vile. Old blood stains, hadn't been washed for weeks. The curtains had what looked like blood...

We stayed at the Discovery Inn Leeds for one night to attend a concert. Problems arose before we even arrived when we were charged twice for the room resulting in £100 being taken as opposed to £50. We rang the hotel where the receptionist could not explain the issue adequately, and simply kept repeating that only “one payment” had been...

Stayed for one night on a Saturday whilst in Leeds. The room was a very large twin room, with a bay sashed window which was lovely. It's an old building so the floors are very creaky and undulating. The bathroom was large also. My gripe was that there was mould between the tiles on the grouting which is not what...

We stayed here after a concert at the arena. Room was nice and clean on check in. Staff were neither good or bad just basic and average. Lifts well two lift trips and a route march to our room on the 8th floor. The noise from the other residents was appalling, the constant tramping round from the 9th floor was...

This was perfect for my stay in Leeds (one night stopover). Close to train station, shops, bars and restaurants. 24 access and room was good for the price. Overall very pleasant and would go back again in future.

Stayed overnight following a concert. The building is old (sash windows in our room, but there was evidence of a modernisation programme on some floors) but clean and comfortable. Had a late night so despite paying for breakfast opted for a lie in. Location is excellent, bang outside the Railway Station and therefore easy for a walk into the Town...

It wasn't as bad as people made me understand. It was an old building with a damp stain in corner of ceiling and taps wobbled a bit, but the room was nice and warm, bed and bedding good, and furniture nice and plenty of tea, coffee and milk. Would go again if the cheapest I could find.

The Discovery Inn is in a great location, really close to the train station which was great for me since I was arriving by train from Manchester Airport. It is close to some great restaurants (and Whitelock's, the oldest pub in Leeds), the Trinity Leeds shopping centre, and is about a 10 minute walk to Kirkgate Market. This is pretty...
