Friendly, long-serving staff make business stays more pleasurable. I’d not been for a while, so was thrilled to see Imran again and Paul in the lounge. I sheets feel welcome, and the little gift in the room was a delightful touch. Always grateful for the water too. The vine leaves served in the lounge are divine. Great lounge breakfast choices too. Thank you all.

Been coming to this hotel on and off for 25yrs , haven’t been for a few years as the price was so high, my daughter brought me as a treat for Mother’s Day , The hotel rooms are nice enough but the breakfast was inedible! I got yoghurt and fresh fruit , absolutely tasteless , I then got a full English , bacon was dried out and rock hard, beans were sugary sweet, sausage was ok , grey scrambled egg but no fried eggs ! So when I asked I was told I should have ordered one ! Toast was soggy even though I put it through the toaster twice , just awful and certainly not worth the money , when we complained they told us there was nothing they could do about it as it is gino dicampo restaurant, we were so disappointed and felt totally robbed , I won’t stay again, not a good Mother’s Day experience unfortunately

This is the second time we have stayed here after previously always staying at the Hilton Doubletree (Leeds) What I really like about this hotel is the location. It’s very central and has an excellent restaurant on site ( Gino D’acampo) and check in. On both occasions we arrived early (around 11am) and were given a room straight away. Whenever we stayed at the Hilton the check in staff seemed to take delight in saying you cannot check in until 4pm, unless I moaned to the manager they would not give us a room any earlier but I really like the approach at the Marriott, If they have a room available, you can have it …this is the reason we switched to this hotel The Asian gentlemen who was working on the day we checked in (1st March) was very courteous, polite and welcoming . I don’t get his name but he was excellent All the staff in the restaurant are also excellent and I would thoroughly recommend this hotel We will defo be back as this is our new favourite hotel in Leeds 😀

Yet again the Marriott team have done an amazing job of looking after myself and my friend. We booked executive room, the first room allocated was dark and a bit poky, but after a call to reception this was changed to a much larger and brighter room. A whole different vibe from the first room, Can’t fault the facilities and extras that come with booking at executive room. A special thanks to Sharon who was very helpful and friendly during breakfast service in the executive lounge. A real customer focussed individual… you made our stay feel very special.

Stayed in a junior suite. No noise from the busy street below, comfortable room with plenty of space, very clean and comfortable. Benefit of having access to the executive lounge. Paul who was on service thar evening was very friendly and cheerful, superb host. Breakfast was served in the adjacent Gino D'Campo restaurant which again was excellent, excellent selection for breakfast enough to suit any appetite and requirement. Would highly recommend.

Lovely, lovely hotel one of the nicest rooms we’ve stayed in. Comfortable and a lovely bathroom and very clean. Food lovely and all the staff. Only downside was the noise! We had zero sleep both of us due to music until around 4am which is obviously not the hotels problem it’s clubs and bars nearby I just think it’s something worth knowing if staying here. A real shame we had a bad night sleep or this would be my go to.

We have stayed here before. But this time we stayed with a large family, as my son was getting married in Leeds. I have to say the front desk staff went above and beyond for us! The new Gino restaurant was amazing and the room cleaners were always smiling and wished us good morning. Yet another great stay at the Marriott.

Disappointing stay this time. We booked a suite but it just looked tired in places and could do with a refit. The room booking meant we could choose to have breakfast in the exc lounge or the main restaurant ran now by Gino D’ ‘merry’ men. We unfortunately chose the restaurant. The food is generally not of a good standard for a Marriott breakfast. However what really let’s the place down are the arrogant staff working there. If you want to be ignored, dismissed and generally treated like dirt on the bottom of a shoe this is the place to go. We also saw them turn away customers who couldn’t find a space to eat in the exec lounge. We have stayed many times at this Marriott and it’s usually a lovely experience but we won’t be going back while the breakfast service is ran by Campo et al.

We had a weekend here with no complaints at all. Hotel is perfectly located to walk anywhere in Leeds. Service was nice and polite throughout the hotel. Rooms are nice, clean and well appointed. Didnt try the room service, but the cooked breakfast was spot on. Would definitely stay again.
