The cleaning room has not been done for 2 days in a row even if requested, the breakfast was poor quality, and the service at the restaurant was slow (I waited 30 minutes before I could order even tough there were only 4 clients).

Just am overnight stop to break the journey. Easy to find, comfortable room. Really friendly staff and a decent breakfast. Be warned this is a new Hotel, clearly well insulated. It is as quiet as the grave. Set your alarm otherwise you'll oversleep. Highly recommended and excellent value for money.

Upon arrival, couldn’t find me on the system… not very welcoming after 4-5 hour journey. No apology. Then worried me saying someone has checked in to our room already to her colleague… I thought brilliant we are at fawlty towers here. Makes you laugh that they have hand sanitiser at the entrance yet the rooms and the hotel is generally filthy. To find the toilet had faeces on the seat and up the tiles in the bathroom was quite a disgusting start. The pillows were worn out and flat, the bed was uncomfortable. The staff were ignorant. Also nobody around to complain to, and the attitude on arrival was poor as I described. Emailed and complaint was disregarded, so shows they only want your money. They definitely don’t have hygiene standards or proper cleaners here! Avoid!

Great value for money , good location ,Hotel & rooms very clean .Quite with tea making facilities , safe & good hairdryer ..easy chech in & out .. friendly staff . Also had a lovely walk around the lake ..

The property is very basic. It’s great if you get it at a cheap price or if you’re not spending much time in your room. It was dusty the room and we had some issues with the TV signal. We paid for early check-in and as we were settling in, staff members randomly walked in to our room. It was a nice stay but I would only stay again for the right price. We did get the room for a good price on this occasion.

Last minute booking to break up a journey back to Scotland. Such a good rate. Room was clean and lovely. Breakfast in the morning was also superb. Check in was easy and staff friendly. Highly recommend

This hotel has no respect for customers and puts their staff at risk without hesitation. We tried to cancel a booking 2 hrs after booking after getting a positive covid test result which we sent them a copy of. They refused to cancel the booking so we're quite happy to expose their staff as long as the advanced paid room was booked.

Great location just off the motorway and not too far from town. Pleasant building with friendly and welcoming staff. Average rooms with most basic amenities included in stay. Inexpensive rooms, you get what you pay for.

Based at the Skelton Lake service area on the M1. This is a new service area which is modern and pleasant with nice surrounding grass areas and a lake. The Ramada on site here is excellent value for money. It is clean and bright and the staff are very friendly and helpful. It is also dog friendly and has a bar and simple restaurant for breakfast and meals.
