was noisy nightclub/pub outside room at 11.30 pm on a sunday night and had to get up at 4.30 am for a flight. Feel that travelodge should have raised this as an issue with leeds city council before and given me a quieter room as I said I needed to get up at 4.30 am. The night staff let me change rooms though which was good. Also there is no microwave in room and as I checked in late was forced to buy a meal outside even though there was a Coop across the street with ready meals available. Staff wouldnt let me use their microwave. Think microwave in room should be a no brainer
The location is great, the staff lovely, our room was very small and the shower curtain really does need changing as very dirty. For the price we pause it was very disappointing, doubt I will book again, pay alot for a couple of nights, and still have to pay extra for WiFi
Clean tidy only downside could do with better sound insulation between rooms you can hear the tvs either side and maybe better carpets in hallways you can hear people walking about Also maybe upgrade the double glazing the room was opposite a railways and was noticeable at nighttime
Why book a family room with children if it is in the same floor as every drunk in Leeds? Our room was tatty and had clearly had someone smoking in it previously. The decor was depressing. We were all kept awake from 2am - 7am by constant comings / goings and partying of what felt like several rooms around us. A dreadful place to stay as a family.
Comfortable and affordable but could maybe have asked for a room not overlooking the railway lines but it didn’t cause too many problems. Very close to everything. 300 mtrs from train station. My wife and daughter enjoyed the closeness to bars / restaurants.
Great hotel, easy booking, great prices, rooms big, clean, has all the things you need including a fan, hotel room was quiet I didn’t hear anything from outside or in, breakfast was great, lots of variety. Location great for bars and restaurants. Check out simple. Security also get with PIN code to lift so only residents can get to the bedroom floors.
I stayed here for a couple of nights to attend a wedding, the staff were fabulous and very very helpful. I was travelling alone and couldn’t zip my dress up they kindly helped me. I also had a bit of a problem with an app on my phone and they also sorted that. The rooms are warm and comfortable with everything you need. The breakfast was excellent with a wide range of cereals, fruit, pastries and breads. The cooked breakfast was bacon, sausage, vegetarian sausage, eggs, mushrooms and tomatoes. A wide range of coffees and teas plus fruit juice available. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again and it’s very central. Thank you all I really enjoyed my stay.
The hotel is fine and is on a good spot. Unfortunately the room i had had dripping rain water falling in to a metal corrugated roof for 4 hours. And when i did finally get to sleep there was a terrible incident out in the corridor bext to my room which really scared the life out of me.
I arrived very late in the evening but the receptionist was still lively to welcome me and make me comfortable ..The room was sufficiently sizeable. I enjoyed my zoom conferences with little fuss. Although the lift was located just opposite my room; there was no noice coming in from outside as I had anticipated. It was quiet and serenely warm in the room. I really enjoyed my stay.
Near train station shopping and restaurants but still quite and clean lift excess with a code so that’s more safe and cheap drinks aswell parking 1 minute walk coop across the road clean room with towels I liked it
