Had a very enjoyable stay on a Saturday night in March. The owners were very kind and checked us in very early so we could go on a guided walk around Salisbury from the tourist information centre. Very well located for both the city and Old Sarum. Room was very clean and had everything we needed.Breakfast was excellent too. Would...

Equidistant between the main town centre and Old Sarum site. We enjoyed a weekend break here to have a great full day's hike, taking in Old Sarum, the villages of the valley to the west, the barrow fields and the areas around Stonehenge. Great breakfast and lovely rooms

Not sure what occurred here, as it was 3 years ago. We have children stay on a regular basis, and three grandchildren here every week, so generally very child friendly, and I can't remember who was working at that period. Pleased that you found the room agreeable, and the easy access to the city good. Apologies for any mix up...

Convenient location with parking to walk in to Salisbury centre and Cathedral. Very well run, clean and efficient B&B with a welcoming host who was happy to tell us how to get around. It was very humid when we stayed and we were grateful for the electric fan provided in our room. Room and en suite quite compact but had...

A warm welcome on arrival and a lovely room we went for a doulble deluxe. The Edwardian Lodge is very well placed for exploring Salisbury being only 15 minutes from the medievil centre of the town and only a few minutes drive to Old Sarum & Stone Henge. The Guest House is clean and tidy , A good filling breakfast...

We are often in Salisbury. Tried to stay in the town centre like usually but this time everything around was booked or very overpriced. Been here before so decided to book this place again. I have booked a twin room as last time given double bed was very small and uncomfortable for 2 adults. Room was clean and tidy, all...

We couldn't fault the service or the comfort in this lovely B & B. We didn't see a lot of our hosts but that isn't a negative - they gave us good advice when we needed it. Our room was very clean, the bed was good and there was plenty of hot water. The ensuite wasn't large but we were...

Many thanks for your comments, which we appreciate. We are pleased you enjoyed your stay and found the walk alongside the river easy and pleasant. As always guests are surprised how beautiful the city and especially the cathedral are. We hope you had a good onward journey.

Welcomed in despite arriving early, Rooms spotlessly clean, Breakfast ample and hosts friendly. Our only negative comment would be that the bed was too soft for us. The Guest house is well located between Old Sarum and the city centre, with plenty to do and see. No shortage of places to eat within 10-15 minutes walk.

My wife and I stayed here for one night on the way to Cornwall. A friendly owner. Plenty of off road parking too. We stayed in the King Room which was spotlessly clean and spacious. The large bed was very comfortable as were the pillows. There was a fan in the room just in case we got too hot. A...
