We enjoyed our stay at the Chapter House, finding the staff very welcoming and helpful. The food was good and the surroundings historically interesting. Our room was great, with dark wood panelling and low lighting, giving the feeling of going 'back in time'. The cathedral was right opposite the Chapter House, so iwe were in a good central position for...

My daughter treated us to a birthday meal at this restaurant and what a great choice it was. Excellent service and an unusual choice of South African dishes I had not tried before. Will definitely be going back.

I met here with an old friend and her family as she was going to be staying there that night, it was a beautiful old quaint pub very nicely decorated. She showed me her room up the really old stair case, even though I didn't stay here I could tell how nice it was going to be for her,

The Chapter House has tons of charm but with modern amenities. The food is also amazing. Everyone there was so helpful and professional. They allowed us to keep our luggage there even after checking out, so we could go to Stonehenge. We did have to book 2 rooms for our family of 4, but our teens loved that they could...

Very charming building & warm, friendly hosts. The room had everything you need & the bed is wonderfully comfy. Menu has some South African influenced choices, which suited me. Reasonably priced & tasty. Good breakfast options & the eggs royale was cooked to perfection. The only downside is there is no on site parking which I didn't pick up on...

Had the executive family room and it was amazing. Huge spacious and beautifully decorated room with a free standing bath plus a separate bathroom with really powerful shower. Plenty of towels and lovely toiletries and the room had plenty of heaters, an iron, a hairdryer etc. Well stocked tea and coffee tray and even a Krups coffee machine! There was...
