Just returned from a two night break at The Castle Hotel. I have rated this experience average for a couple of reasons. First one being the cost of the car park ! £30 per day is absolutely ridiculous and that is for guests ! Reception staff not very friendly on arrival. Lunchtime food and the staff in The Leaf bar on Sunday afternoon were brilliant. Helpful, attentive staff and the food was delicious. What a shame this was not the case when wanting to use the bar in the evening. Not enough bar staff so we left and went elsewhere for pre-dinner drinks. Breakfast food was very good with an excellent choice. however, if you are going to seat guests in the lounge area please put on the correct amount of staff to acco6omdate them, having to wait a long time for toast and coffee is not good. We upgraded to s superior room with one advantage being complimentary soft drinks , what a shame the fridge was not replenished the second day. Excellent location in the middle of Windsor and was great to be able to park on site. The staff were very helpful at all times. The bar had a nice feel and a good range of drinks and we had a fantastic breakfast in the restaurant. Would highly recommend!

Room was perfect, location was ideal for our dinner plans and seeing the rest of town and breakfast was very good. The staff were very friendly and recommended some bars to have pre dinner drinks along with late night venues to enjoy after dinner drinks.

We got married in Windsor and had the hotel first as a base for ny fiancée to get ready, then as a venue for reception. The Events team with Calum and Hannah along with all the staff were fantastic throughtout. The service and food for the reception was superb. The help , messages and little extra details from the staff were very nice. Thank you so much for helping make our special day extra special.

My wife and I stayed at the hotel over the weekend and had a lovely stay. Check in was seamless and staff were very friendly, room was a lot bigger than expected . Hotel itself has an amazing bar and restaurant which created a lively atmosphere. You cannot get a better location and last but not least really good breakfast where again the staff were very attentive. Will definitely be staying again.

We had excellent support from the banqueting-team before the event and on the night for our dining-event. The attendees (35 covers) all agreed that the food and the service on the night were of an excellent standard - and most importantly, not a single complaint was made about anything.

Two minutes from Windsor Castle, Great well kept hotel, a lot bigger than it looks from outside. rooms warm and comfortable, with tea, coffee, biscuits, and a fridge. Breakfast is very good, nice restaurant and the staff were all very nice.
