The Lodge is in an ideal location in the middle of Broadway with easy access to restaurants, pubs and shops. The rooms are clean and have good tea and coffee facilities. We definitely stay again as it is so convenient.
Location was perfect, rooms were spotless and big with excellent facilities - could not fault a single thing and would defiantly stay here again. We stayed in the ‘hare’ ‘ room - it was quirky and comfortable. Check in was easy and any questions answers immediately.
We really enjoyed our stay at the Lodge - it has a great location just off the main street and our apartment was very well appointed. It was warm and cosy but with plenty of space for a family with teenage kids. Definitely worth another visit!
Stayed for one night (Friday). The directions to the linked parking area were spot on, albeit that the spaces are not over large. If the linked parking is full, they have an arrangement with The Lygon Arms Hotel to use their parking. The reception desk at The Lodge is not manned. We arrived at checking in time (15.00pm), used the telephone and spoke to a lady who directed us to our room (The Luxury Hare). The room key was in the door. The common areas and room have a light-coloured carpet, which although aesthetically pleasing is not ideal as it does show marks. The room is light and airy, spacious, with a comfortable king-sized bed, overlooking the courtyard. There is a small fridge which was stocked with a small bottle of milk & water. The ensuite is a good size, with a powerful shower over the bath. When we visited the bath plug was missing. Only staying 1 night it was ok but if staying longer we would have wanted to resolve so we could use the bath. As is clearly stated it is a room only basis but there is a very good cafe within 50yds on the High Street that serves breakfast from 8.30am and The Lodge guests qualify for a discount. We only used the heating for a short time but the radiators (two, one bedroom & one ensuite) both with thermostatic valves warmed very quickly. In terms of location The Lodge is really central to Broadway, and we enjoyed our short stay. …
The room we stayed in was really clean and the bedding was soft, really quiet, stayed in the end room larger of the bedrooms. Milk was supplied in the fridge and also a bottle of water which was a nice touch. Really close to the centre of town and really quiet. Parking is free and plenty of space to park which is a rarity in Broadway. Fantastic as always will come back again.
This was a hugely disappointing stay. Overall if you book a boutique hotel than you expect that. This is not a hotel, it is an unattended book a room service, a bit like AirBnB, it is not a hotel. Anyone that says it is a boutique hotel is quite wrong. An array of emails was sent, to which you cannot reply to, the phone numbers provided say with an answering service that the person is no longer available - this should have been a warning. When you do find the hotel- it takes finding! the parking is totally inadequate for the rooms, tiny car park spaces jammed into a row that you cannot drive into with any comfort. It’s a shared facility and poorly maintained - another warning sign. Arrival at the venue, there is no one, nothing just a desk and another phone number. There are cameras that monitor if people are in reception that is the only reason that the phone might be answered. Rooms have the early appearance of lux, but the shine wears off, poorly finished interiors show in the workmanship of the build, mouldy bathroom, fusty room with poor ventilation. Unless you open the windows then you have the noise of courtyard, street etc. Concur with many others about the wifi pretty non-existent, cleaning staff were also not great. Bed mattress amongst the most uncomfortable ever slept on. Broadway is a lovely town, has many attributes but this is not the place to stay. Sorely disappointing considering the reviews here I can only assume that many are not genuine. …
Lovely rooms in very central location in Broadway. Very comfortable with all amenities including toiletries and tea/coffee with fresh milk, within couple minutes walk of excellent restaurants, car parking on site or at Lygon Arms. Self check-in was very easy, good communication with host on any issues, and the cleaning team were super friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again.
Beautiful place to stay. In a gorgeous setting with easy access to everything. Check in was very straightforward. Clear communication from the moment we booked. Manager couldn’t have been more helpful, responding to emails and texts. The accommodation itself is beautiful. Has everything you could possibly need for a relaxing break. Family loved it, made for a truly special visit
This property misrepresents itself from the outset. It is not a boutique hotel - it is a self service unit that has rooms, to access these you walk though mud and rain and finally a courtyard. There is literally no staff and noone available to assist except on a phone. The parking provided is cramped and inadequate for the rooms that are available. There is not 9 car parking spaces for the none rooms, so you end up tramping though the local pub car park, risk a fine of £100 for paking there. luckily they have more customer service skills and if you call in and give them you car reg number they allow you to stay. Customer service for this "Boutique Hotel" is non existing as replying to an email is not considered necessary. The email address they provide is undeliverable, the number they give you doesn't allow you to leave a message this is all AFTER you book. So be warned. Access to the rooms is through a tall narrow staircase that if you are in any way impaired you should avoid. Hugely disappointed. The apartment does not have ensuite facilities, it has one miserable small bathroom at the entrance to the apartment, there is not ensuite facilities in each room as advertised. WiFi is rubbish and keeps cutting out. The manager Emma was extremely rude and hung up on me. Luxury boutique is not a word I would use to describe this, most of the customer service is poor. Hugely disappointed and urge you to find alternative in this beautiful area.…
Wedding stay was really really lovely considering there was a group of us all went very smoothly. Lodge is super close to all areas, with great amenities near by. This lodge is also very clean with helpful staff. Thanks to Emma and the team. Was able to get a taxi also
