Really lovely place, very authentic with lots of history but nicely modernised without losing character. Very friendly people, who could not do enough for you. Great breakfast (large!) but very good quality. Beautiful grounds a great location. Will go back.
We have stayed at Abbots Grange several times, and each trip has been fantastic. Unique, intimate and luxurious, you come away feeling cosseted and refreshed. The manor house is stunning, and situated just a stone's throw from picturesque Broadway. The historic great room has hosted famous artists and writers, and is a really relaxing place to sit by a roaring fire with a glass of wine. The environment is peaceful and tranquil. The rooms are all beautiful and different. We have stayed in the Elizabethan suite, Millet and Morris. All equally sumptuous, with ensuite bath/shower rooms, and pillowy comfortable four poster beds. Thoughtful touches include chocolates, tea, coffee and biscuits. Save room for the delicious breakfasts, where there is a very wide choice of cooked eggs, bacon, sausage, toast, cereal, porridge, yoghurt, fruit, juices etc. The portions are generous. The service is a standout, friendly and attentive, without being too obtrusive. Thanks to Stacey, Val, Karen and crew, nothing is too much trouble. The owners of Abbots Grange have clearly put considerable thought into the ultimate guest experience, with an eye to detail that is quite unique. Since our last stay, a welcome addition includes a courtesy drinks bar, and apparently, afternoon teas and charcuterie plates will soon be on offer. We have visited in the Winter, which is festive and cosy, or the Summer, when you can really appreciate the beautiful grounds, summer house, tennis court and outdoor seating area, with firepit. The only problem with this place is that it is hard to leave, and hard to beat. We will be back! …
A most beautiful Manor House From setting, location, architecture, history and 5* breakfast. Bathroom luxurious. The hosts were perfect and nothing too much trouble. We’ll be back for the tennis court and croquet!
Abbots Grange is a fairytale setting from the approach to the Manor to the stunning historic building and well appointed quarters. The staff is over the top accomodating and breakfast fabulous. I really loved the experience, esp at such a reasonable rate.
Beautiful setting and house. Millet bedroom very comfortable and quiet. Fantastic breakfast. Great, welcoming staff who couldn't do enough for us. Just sitting in the Great Hall was an amazing experience. Would definitely visit again.
Beautiful setting, wonderful room (we had an upgrade free of charge). Staff were extremely helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was extremely large and beautifully presented and cooked. Will definitely visit again
A fantastic stay with brilliant staff and excellent amenities. The gardens and great hall just added to the ambiance of the property and a night cap in front of the open fire was a real treat. We will definitely stay again and look forward to our next visit. Thank you.
This is a wonderful hotel set in beautiful surroundings, tucked away but right on the edge of Broadway. We arrived a bit earlier than expected but received a lovely warm welcome and luckily our room was ready. We stayed in Sargeant and had a lovely view over the gardens to the back of the property. The room was well appointed, quiet, very warm and the bed was super comfy. Breakfasts were very good! Excellent produce, cooked well and presented beautifully. The staff were warm and friendly and always on hand to help with anything, nothing was too much trouble. The hotel is a fabulous building with a 700 year old great hall. Here the fire was lit and there were nice comfy sofas and an honesty bar was available for a little pre dinner drink and a night cap. It's located right on the edge of Broadway village but tucked away so if you didn't know it was there you would walk straight past. We will definitely return next time we are back in the UK.…
A wonderful, relaxing night away in a beautiful, historic building which felt like a home. We were greeted with a glass of fizz - always a pleasing way to start a break! Our room, with four poster bed, was extremely comfortable. Loved the Pulpit Bar and the breakfast was superb. Thank you
Staying at Abbots Grange was truly a treat for me and my husband. We visited England for a week from the States and took a few days mid-week to stay at Abbots Grange and experience the Cotswolds. I am so glad we did! Everything at Abbots Grange is top-notch. Every member of the staff was attentive and kind and made us feel so welcome. The accommodations are truly magnificent. We were blown away by the history there and felt so lucky to be a part of it. The breakfasts were delicious and offered anything you could possibly want. We highly recommend staying here if you find yourself in Broadway. It is an experience we will always treasure!
