Absolutely lovely hotel - stunning interiors with fantastic attention to detail. The spa is beautiful and easily accessible from the bedrooms so that you can go down in bath robes. The food in the Garden room restaurant was delicious and the setting delightful. All staff are very friendly and helpful.

We stayed at the lovely dormy house over a weekend break, couldn't fault the hotel and spa and its staff, going above and beyond to make it a relaxing experience. The hotel porters were fantastic, so kind and knoledgeable about the house the grounds and its heritage. We came away totally relaxed and smelling of the gorgeous temple spa creams...

My husband and I chose this hotel to mark a sad anniversary and were delighted with our choice. We were greeted upon arrival, our bags were taken and we were checked in by Claire the lovely receptionist. I asked if our room had a walk in shower as I am pregnant and unfortunately our allocated room didn't. Claire managed to swap...

Visited to sample an afternoon tea. I'm trying lots in the area to compare them. Dormy came out very well, modern twist to it, rather than traditional feel, quality of food was excellent and service was good, excellent choice of teas and copious refills. Would revisit and the hotel and spa looked incredible.

Just had a wonderfully relaxing stay at The Dormy House Hotel for Valentines Day. The room (no32) was comfy, cute and classily cosy. The meal we had in 'The Potting Shed' was outrageously tasty (we had the hake with Kedgeree- incredible!) and were accompanied by some sublime cocktails of the highest order. Our only negative was the amount of children/noise...

We received this treat as a Birthday Gift. Thought today was a good day to go. Greeted at the door and guided to our venue. The Garden Room. Offered a drink and given the menu. The Afternoon tea was a delight. Sandwiches and sweets, order Scones when required. The service, staff was excellent. The food out of this world. The...

The perfect place for a lovely short stay. From being greeted at the door by our first names, to the spare toothbrush, the luxury log fires and peaceful sleeps in the spa. Breakfast was delightful (request a window seat) The only thing we might change is to eat in the Potting Shed as opposed to the Garden Room next time....

Dear Peter, Thank you for taking the time to write us your feedback and what lovely feedback it is. We are delighted that you had such a relaxing, re chargeing Sunday afternoon with us but I can't help to notice that the one at of five rating may not reflect the positive comments.

Dear Marcus, What wonderful feedback to read on your overall stay. I'm so pleased that we ticked all the boxes in your experience from the arrival, the scrumptious meals and to the indulgence in the spa. I'm dreadfully sorry for the "not so savoury" experiences with certain members of the team who did not express the standards we are all...
