Little hiccup with noise levels when trying to sleep but this has been sorted. Everything else was great, we spent most of the time at the spa. Treatments were beautiful and probably the best my husband and I have ever had, thank you to Rosie & Daniela.

This was our first stay at Dormy House and was impressed with the high level of services and personal attention that the staff gave from the point of booking to the point of leaving. We were celebrating our 1st anniversary and were made to feel at home immediately. The staff went above and beyond to ensure that we had a special experience. The room was clean, modern, but also had a good balance of vintage, authenticity. The spa was well organised so it had a perfect balance of quiet but not too quiet. The food was amazing, and cooked to perfection and breakfast was one of the best breakfast we had had (smoked salmon & egg crumpets were bang on). Great activities on offer as we tried something new with clay shooting, highly recommend! Thoroughly enjoyed our stay with Dormy House and a special mention to the Manager Vipul who ensured we well looked after and we will definitely be returning!

What a fantastic hotel down to every last detail. It made our family celebration very special. All the staff are lovely but I must give a special mention to Hannah who is one of the friendliest and most helpful people you can hope to meet! Brilliant stay and hope to go back as soon as possible.

Our first time visiting the Dormy House Hotel, definitely not our last. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay from start to finish. Staff were very friendly, polite and made us feel very welcome. The setting is also beautiful, especially as the sun was shining during our stay. We had a comfy room with brilliant amenities, loved the little touches like the Temple Spa toiletries and chocolates. The air con was much appreciated on the hottest day on record! By far the comfiest bed we have experienced in a hotel! We used the spa, which was both refreshing and relaxing. The one hour time slots ensured that it never felt busy. We ate in the Back Garden restaurant, where the food was exceptional. I particularly enjoyed the raspberry soufflé. Nothing was too much for the staff, shout out to Ben in The Shed Bar for making me a tailor made mojito just to my taste. Breakfast in the morning was ample, and there was a lot of choice. All round great stay, leaving us feeling very relaxed and a special break after our wedding. The goodie bag on departure was also a lovely touch.

What a delightful spa day. We had exceptional service thanks to Hannah and the maitre de of the hotel. Hannah went above and beyond and even heard us say that the air con was a bit cold and adjusted it to ensure we weren't too cold when we came out of the pool for lunch. Really attentive staff and a superb spa.

When we visited in March we felt that the level of service had dropped off a little but our confidence was fully restored when we visited again with friends in July. The service was faultless and the food excellent. A special mention needs go to the souffles which were delicious and the cheerful and attentive restaurant service from Bianca. As always, the reception rooms were welcoming and full of character.

Dear John, Thank you so much for your most recent feedback and I am so pleased we restored our confidence in you. I am so sorry you felt that we had lost our way a bit in March. I know that Bianka and the team will be delighted and it was good of you to take time to comment. Look forward to seeing you another time soon. Kind regards, Stephen

We stayed at Dormy House for 3 nights at the outset of a 2-week road trip through the Cotswolds and north and south Wales (at WolfeStreetTravel.com). The hotel was exactly what we had hoped for in the region. The common space in the main house, including The Shed, was super well designed and full of character, allowing guests to settle into their own space or hang out with others. The engagement and service of the staff - including the bar staff in The Shed - was outstanding. Our lodging - Rose's Cottage - epitomized a Cotswold cottage, with exposed beams and its own wood-burning stove (which we actually used each morning and evening, which was delightful). Note that Rose's Cottage (one of two jacuzzi suites) abuts the road, so there unfortunately was some road noise just outside the stone walls; on the plus side, it had its own parking space, which was nice. 10/10 would stay here again.

We have come away for my 50th birthday and what a fantastic find . This isn’t like a hotel it is more of a house / home absolutely perfection. Had dinner in the restaurant ( back garden ) and had the most wonderful experience. I do have to say that was made by the exceptional service we had from Bianca . Josh was a great help in reception and Ben in the bar .

My daughter and I visit Dormy House and would not dream of going anywhere else. This was our 5th visit. We stayed in a suite and had a wonderful welcome from Debbie and Isadora.. thank you so much. We had amazing treatments by Meg and Julia, went for a lovely long walk with breath taking views and had the wine pairing experience at Mo where we were totally spoiled .. Matt the Chef even gave me one of his recipes which I will certainly 'try' to execute but just know it won't be the same!! Bella and Sky were so professional and good fun too. Katie is still amazing us with her little tips on the spa reception... Everyone makes you feel so very welcome ... It really is a complete home from home.

Second trip down at Dormy house, booked as a last minute getaway for myself and my husband. We call Dormy house, our home away from home. We’re always welcomed with a massive smile and feel extremely relaxed and joy when we visit and always sad to leave. A massive thank you to, Katie, Bianca and Alex as you always make our stay extra special with your big smiles and wonderful conversations! An extra special thank you for Chef Sky and Chef Matt. You and your incredible beetroot sauce! The food is as amazing as always but you really left us smiling and in joy as we were handed our own very special batch of beetroot sauce to take back with us by who better than the the amazing chef Sky! Thank you for making our stay as special as always and cannot wait to be back again! See you all again soon and don’t forget an extra batch of the all amazing beetroot specially for us ;P Ridhi & Greg McGinnigle x
