We booked a table for Sunday lunch when family visited from London. The visit was because of a family bereavement so just wanted family time together. Service was friendly, helpful and confident. Menu choices were great with good selection of roasts and other dishes including vegetarian. Most of us picked roast dinner and this came with a good selection of perfectly cooked vegetables. Extra gravy was brought out with meals which is a nice touch. Only one person had desert but we all had a cheeky spoonful this was also nice. A very popular local pub which we’ve visited before new owners everyone made us feel welcome and friendly will definitely return to eat again.

First time in this restaurant, the food was excellent and very good service. Polite and friendly staff and we did not feel we were rushed at all. Very Nice venue. Pleasant surroundings, nice temperature in the restaurant. Went with friends.

We visited The Royal Oak for lunch, had a good varied menu and specials board. We chose pork loin in mushroom and spinach sauce with roast potatoes & veg which was nice and hot when it arrived, my partner chose pork dumplings & garlic bread (the dumplings were not made from suet pudding) the lady who served us said it was a polish dish. Both dishes were extremely tasty. The staff were friendly.

We were staying in Evesham for a few days and our hotel was not serving dinner due to short staff. The Royal Oak was very busy for a Tuesday night and full of atmosphere. The food was very good and included fish meat and curry dishes. The service was rather slow and we waited too long between courses. However the staff were apologetic and we enjoyed our evening.

Looking for somewhere to grab a late lunch - specials board outside persuaded us to go in. Felt slightly wary as it was totally empty inside but Sam at the bar was very welcoming and chatty. Decided to order just a starter as a tester in view of the fact there was no-one else in there and thought maybe the food's not great. Chose the tempura prawns - have to say, they were absolutely amazing including the presentation! Enjoyed it so much that we decided to go for mains too - Ribeye steak was cooked to perfection and the chicken and potatoes went down a treat! Started to get much busier into early evening with a great atmosphere. Only advice I would give is to get the menu sanity checked as some may be put off by 'chucky' chips or butchers sausages 'severed' with potatoes - kept us amused though!

Waited 40mins before being approached for order staff walk passed you to other tables. Once order placed for drinks and food still nothing for next ten minutes so cancelled and left. Pandemic table service rules is not a reason for poor service

This is our local in "ordinary times" and we love it but to see how hard every member of staff is having to work at the moment is just astounding - we applaud you. The food is always amazing and the drink selection is too. In our opinion, The Oak is a Covid safe environment and they do their very best to achieve this...it's just a shame that the general population don't seem to acknowledge the Government guidelines...! Today we witnessed the staff endure endless abuse from people who were clearly oblivious to news that has obliterated our media for weeks 😡... Visiting a pub now is a privilege and we should treat it as so (and should treat the staff that look after you in the same way) - these businesses are having to work harder but for less revenue just to keep afloat and also keep you safe. Just do as you're told, that way we can all continue to enjoy such experiences after this terrible time.

Popped out for an impromptu tea tonight after getting home from work late. Both my wife and I had the steak on the specials board. Absolutely amazing. My steak cooked to perfection. The service was excellent and superb value for money. Thank you royal Oak team.
