Booked this Hotel to meet up with friends and visit the Morgan Factory. We had no choice but to book a "Club Room" Two nights with Breakfast £272.80. The Good: The Room (426) was very good, King size bed which was very comfortable with good quality bedding. A Three piece suite and great views. The bathroom with a large walk-in...

I was hoping to get away for a night in semi luxury and being localish had always thought of staying at The Abbey. For £200 (breakfast and dinner included) in a Superior Double room I had reasonable expectations based on photos on the website. However, i was very disappointed in the dated decor of the room, threadbare carpet with a...

The Abbey hosted our most recent dancing club weekend. The staff were uniformly excellent and handled a fire alarm incident better than any we've come across. The group dinner on Saturday (all menu choices pre-ordered) was significantly better than Friday's. We added nights to the group booking and were disappointed to see many items on the standard menu "extra" to...

Great location, big hotel. Room was lovely, also the food. Bit of walk from the car park to reception with luggage but you can drop off before parking. Staff were very friendly. Only stayed one night. Breakfast was excellent, great choice.

Attended a business breakfast meeting here recently. Good conference space & facilities & a good full English breakfast was served. Also, unusually for this area, a reasonably large car parking area also.

We booked rooms for 18 people over the Cheltenham festival Gold cup day. The feedback I have had as the organiser is that the hotel was superb and everyone was very impressed. From an organisers point of view, the hotel was very helpful with sorting out the rooms, and flexible enough to help us move bookings around at the last...

We only had a single night stay at this establishment, however from the moment we arrived on the Tuesday morning to leaving the following morning, the experience was faultless. All staff were polite, professional and very helpful. The room was immaculate and very well prepared. The breakfast room was very spacious and we opted for the full english breakfast and...

The Abbey Hotel is literally next to the Abbey, and just a minute or two on foot to the Abbey, shops, a small park and the path to St Anne's Well. Our room was at the back on the top floor with a great view of the Abbey and beyond. Being in the eaves it was a quirky shape, small...
