We booked this stay through secret escapes and got a great deal that included 2 night stay with breakfast both days and an evening meal including a bottle of wine on one of the days. The room itself was nice enough although a little small for an executive double. The restaurant was very nice and enjoyed all the meals we...

We stayed at the Abbey with a group of friends earlier this month and overall we were impressed with the hotel itself and the service and quality of food. At the moment the hotel does not look quite so good from the outside as the leaves are not on the ivy covering the building but I daresay this will improve...

We stayed here for a Saturday night through a Travelzoo offer that was very reasonable. The old hotel building is really pretty from the outside, although there wasn't too much to do around Malvern on a chilly February weekend! The decor in the rooms is a little dated and akin to a Travelodge. Our room had the longest and thinnest...

On the outside the Abbey Hotel looks very grand, however when, on the inside we were disappointed with the tired 'corporate' decor. Our bedroom was in the newer extention and was ment to be 'superior' but was more like a Travel Lodge. We were also surprised to find that the complementary bottled water in the room was Harrogate water where...

A beautiful hotel set in the heart of the Malvern Hills, have been to a couple of business meetings here and must say the food is superb and one of the managers- Alex and his team are great! Nothing is too much trouble. Would highly recommend this hotel for any type of venue.

We stayed at The Abbey for 5 nights while packing up our home to emigrate to Australia. The staff were wonderfully helpful in so many ways. Twice when our house sale completion dates fell through they agreed to change our advance booking dates, which were supposed to be unchangeable and non-refundable. On arrival, when we explained how much luggage we...

Arrived here on 4th April for 2 nights in order to visit the Morgan car factory. The hotel consists of the old part complete with ivy on the walls, and a newer part. This review is based on our stay in the old part overlooking the front of the hotel. Rooms at the back of the hotel have views across...

Hotel was exactly as we thought. Slightly faded grandeur, but some very nice touches of effort. Stayed in a superior room, with views of the abbey and the distant countryside - no. 325. Quiet and clean with a decent selection of drinks and tv channels. Huge, comfortable bed. Surrounding area was quiet. Lounge was good, food was better and attentive...

I stayed at The Abby for 5 nights in April 2017 for business. Overall the hotel staff was very helpful from start to finish. I do not travel to Europe regularly so I don't have a lot of experience with European hotel standards so part of my review may be simply due to my unfamiliarity with common hotel practices in...

Good location and a cracking room. We booked through secret escapes on the dinner with wine deal, however whilst the meal was really good, considering it was in with the deal, I was put off by the lighting. It would of been a 5 star dining experience if the lighting was a little dimmer and perhaps a candle on the...
