Easy to find Buttermilk B&B because of the landmark milk churn at the gateway. Staying in their Garden Room, it was like having my own apartment. Private entry and garden to enjoy. Martyn didn't mind that I'd arrived an hour earlier than expected. He helped me carry in my luggage from the ample parking area. I was soon welcomed and...

We stayed here to break the journey from Cornwall to Lancashire and are we glad we did. We had the garden room which has its own access to a private garden and was delightful. There was cake for us and treats for our dog on arrival. Nothing was too much trouble. Caroline even booked a table for us at the...

Had to stay near Worcester for work overnight and so glad I boycotted my usual Travelodge as this was infinitely better and the same price. The room was cosy, welcoming, with everything you could possibly want. The tea tray was well stocked and a little fridge contained fresh milk! Not to mention the amazing slab of homemade fruit cake I...

We used Buttermilk as a stopover in each direction driving from Holyhead to Cornwall.for a short-week holiday. It was ideal for us. The room was large enough for us to erect two dog crates for threee small dogs. The breakfasts were delighful and were served freshly cooked. The enclosed private garden for our room was suitable for comfort exercise for...

Caroline & Martyn have a superb Guest House. We stayed in the Garden Room that opens onto the backyard garden - and they are very accomplished gardeners! Caroline's chef-skills shine through with her superb breakfasts and Martyn is a wonderful source of information and friendly chat! (Georgia the dog is a particular treat). Immaculate with a great common/breakfast room that...

My wife and I stayed four nights in the garden room from 7th July. We experienced a very warm welcome from Caroline on arrival. Our accommodation was very good and the quality and quantity of the breakfast was superb, with a great selection of lovely fresh fruit, a wonderful cooked breakfast and Caroline's very special porridge. Martin paid great attention...

Ideally placed for our long weekend in Worcester. Martyn was an encyclopedia of local knowledge and places to eat and we enjoyed Caroline s breakfasts greatly. Was much easier to find than first anticipated. We were upgraded to the garden room which was lovely and had an ensuite

This was the most wonderful stay overnight that can ever be imagined. Martyn and Caroline could not have been more welcoming. Breakfast was superb and very dog friendly. The view from the breakfast table was wonderful, both near and far.

I had the pleasure of staying here for a few days in August. It has a beautiful, rural setting whilst being near enough to larger towns to reach local amenities with ease. Martyn and Caroline and were very welcoming, accommodating and friendly. I stayed in the Garden Room which was absolutely gorgeous. The breakfast was superlative, as was Caroline's cake!...
