A group of us stayed here en route to the Cheltenham Festival and we were pleased with the location and the smiling, helpful staff. The hotel itself is a bit dated but had enough charm to cover the cracks. Breakfast was spot on and the rates were a fraction on Cheltenham!

Well the hotel is rather 1980s and rooms need a make over. Food was disappointing so you are better off walking into town and eating there. The breakfast is poor. No real continental option. Stayed two nights but more worrying was all the broken glass where windows of cars had been smashed by vandals.

Wife is disabled, in a wheelchair but can walk short distances. Stayed 1 Saturday night Mar 2017. Location: Great location and easy walk into the city centre or to the cathedral. Easy to find. Car Park: Couldn’t find the disabled bays at first. There was a sign stating you must park within the bays and blue badge to be displayed....

We stayed one night with friends. Good location and perfect for a weekend visit to Worcester with parking. Friendly staff. Breakfast was fine. Rooms were clean, our curtains were thin and let light in, but our friends rooms were fine. Room size ok, bathroom a little dated, but perfectly fine. Would stay again, fitted the bill and reasonable price.

My husband and I visted the Fownes from 28th Feb to 3rd March 2017. We had a lovely stay; the room we had was spacious and had everything that is needed, the breakfast was delicious. The staff were so friendly. The history of the hotel is amazing and that in itself that brought us to the hotel. The hotel is...

Needed a base in the centre of town, and Fownes fitted the bill completely. The hotel was created 30 years ago, renovating a famous Glove factory. Although there are new carpets in the corridors, much of the hotel retains a 30-year-old atmosphere! Our room was large, with huge windows on two sides of the room. We arrived at about 2:30...

The hotel is easy to find by car or foot and is just across the road from the main shopping area and cathedral. Free parking is included although with limited spaces for the size of the hotel. Bar prices are reasonable and the restaurant food is excellent. We didn't have breakfast but did notice the hotel was offering a room...

I booked this hotel for a weekend away, after looking at trip advisors reviews I was a little unsure what to expect., but it was great, clean, large rooms , lovely breakfast and a great location. The hotel is full of history, your about 2 minute walk from the town, with lots of bars and restaurants. Would fully recommend.

Lovely service, staff very friendly and welcoming. Clean and well presented rooms but extremely dated throughout. Restaurant was closed when we visited so didn't get to try it unfortunately. Wouldn't stay again.
