The hotel is in a great location overlooking the cricket ground in Worcester and the staff were friendly. However the hotel and especially the rooms where very tired and in need of a refurb. The room had stains on the wall, the hair drier was very small and immediately blew up when I turned it on, the shower was leaking from every joint and obviously had been crudely repaired recently but this hasn’t worked and the overall feel was that it needed some tlc. Everything else food, bar etc was as expected.
Regularly visit this Hotel when going racing, usually 4 or 5 times per year. Have got to know Aaron, who is always very helpful, as are all the other staff that are there. One particular member of staff has been there many years, which is always a good sign. The new Premier Rooms (used in prevoius trip but missed out this time) are to be recommended. Have already booked them for next visit.
Was greeted on arrival by friendly team of staff in both reception and bar who genuinely wanted to help which was refreshing. Room overlooking cricket pitch on ground floor clean tidy and well prepared for stay met with my expectations and despite the crazy car parking and charging regime which is not owned by hotel but means to have to either leave car park by 8 am or pay another £5 for another3 hours or face a £100 fine needs to be discussed with car park provider to see if this can be changed as it sticks in my and other guests mind and potentially damages the overall hotel stay experience.
Hotel was clean, check in was easy as I just used the machine in reception. Room was clean and tidy. The shower wasn't great power wise and was leaking water down the wall and spraying out of the top. Lovely views over the cricket field. Close to Hickory's smokehouse which is outstanding! Also close enough walk to the centre. Breakfast was also good, we parked in the carpark next to the hotel which was £10 for the night.
Lovely view of the cricket ground and Im sure some rooms much have a river/cathedral view. I love that you know what to expect in a premier inn, comfort and convenience. The breakfast is always nice and the beds are always confortable
Very comfortable stay - so easy from booking to arrival to departure. Consistent high standard - know what to expect from a premier inn. Spacious, quiet and comfortable room. Friendly and helpful staff.
I’ve stayed at this hotel on several occasions and once again I can report I’m very satisfied. As always, the welcome and check in was excellent. Friendly and helpful. I’m a terrible sleeper and the new member of staff (many apologies for forgetting your name) on check very kindly found me a top floor room. Rani on reception was, as ever, cheerful , calm and efficient. Good to see new carpet being fitted, though the hotel looks a lot less “tired” than others in the chain I can think of. I look forward to staying again.
This hotel is in an excellent location with a nice restaurant attached, great for breakfast. Staff very friendly and attentive, check in was very smooth and easy. We visited it just before Halloween, so there were decorations up and my 2 young boys had some sweets from the display which was nice. Car parking at Newport Street advertised on the website is literally the other side of the bridge, we could even see our car from the hotel! £6 for 24 hours. The biggest bonus at this hotel is the amazing view of the next door cricket pitch.
Rather tired decor, stained sofa bed. Dusty room, limited tea/coffee (1 sachet of coffee only). Staff member walked in without knocking in the morning. Strange smell as you walk into the hotel - lobby and corridors. Certainly not the best but you get what you pay for.
Arrived at the hotel, lovely lady welcomed us at check in. Room was perfectly clean and a wonderful sleep as usual. Hotel was silent the whole night. Dissappointed in the quality and cooking of the evening meal, next visit we would definitely go outside the hotel to eat, everything else including breakfast was of the highest standard.
