Extremely pricey - £152 for a single night. Premium price 0/10. Really felt that this was way over-priced, no breakfast and by contrast Stourbridge charged £134 for 2 nights stay - less than half the price!! Unless it was a cheap offer, I will avoid this hotel in future
We were on our way to Devon and as this is a long journey from our home town we booked into the Premier Inn. It was great value for money. On arrival we were met by friendly staff and although we arrived before check-in time our room was ready for us. the room was clean and well stocked with teas and coffees. the bed was very comfortable although when I booked online I was told there were no twin rooms which was what we needed. had a good nights sleep. On check-in out I was told there are twin rooms so the staff quickly changed our October booking to a twin with no problem. would definitely recommend this premier inn.
excellent location as we were there for Malvern Hills walk. Very friendly staff, good service. Good value for money. The cooked breakfast was very nice. Everything was perfect except the internet connection was poor.
Breakfast needed planning and created anxiety because I had forgotten to book and I saw irate elderly couple being sent away. Room had damp smell I don’t know why this review needs to be of 200 characters for me to submit it on trip advisor. So here it is Aaaaaaaaaa
No issues, very accommodating and even remembered us throughout stay which made it a pleasure to stay. Was expecting a level of noise as right by the motorway but wasn’t an issue at all. Beefeater next door was handy, if staying again might try for a hotel closer to the city centre but then again we did enjoy staying here
Have stayed at this Premier Inn on a few occasions in the past, the last being 5 months ago, without any issues. This visit however was a different matter. The staff as usual were friendly and welcoming but the room was not good. As soon as we walked in there was a very unpleasant smell, stale/stagnant water in nature. We reported it to reception but they were unable to move us because they were fully booked. They did offer to spray the room but we didn’t think that would really help. We put up with it but it was very unpleasant and spoilt the stay. We ate at the Beefeater on site in the evening. Again staff friendly and helpful but the food was really not good. Poorly prepared food thrown at a plate sums it up. By contrast the breakfast was very good with speedy, friendly service. We would stay here again in the hope that this was just a blip and not the start of a downward trend. Time will tell.…
I had fished all day at a lake nearby then arrived at the inn about 9.30 I checked in remarkably quickly and easily and was in my warm comfy room within minutes . I unpacked had a great hot shower went down to the restaurant had a few nice beers in the bar then back to my room for a FANTASTIC nights sleep in a warm quiet comfy room and a bed like a PRINCESSES !!!!! Ready for the next days FISHING !!!
This Premier Inn has no air-conditioning which was not evident from web site. Also the signage from the road is poor and was obliterated by over grown shrubbery. Poor value at over £100 p night without Air Conditioning
Used the hotel as a stop over on our journey from Scotland to Cornwall, great nights sleep, friendly staff, clean and comfortable room and bed. Would definitely recommend this hotel and the premier inn meal deal was definitely worth the money
The room was clean but airless and stuffy. Was offered a sheet at reception as no air on. Room temp was 26 degrees and limited opening windows. It’s so close to the motorway that I was woken up with motorcycle noise at 4am. Had a room at the front of the hotel which was also noisy until after midnight. Shower was very weak in power so was a pretty poor experience. Bit of a whiff about the place all in all. Breakfast was an unimaginable disaster as I’m vegan and there were very limited offers. Server offered vegetarian sausages which I was told their vegan guests like to eat. Well they contain egg and milk so not vegan at all. Can’t fault the staff, friendly and attentive but the hot breakfast was a shocker. Dry undercooked mushrooms which are making me feel sick thinking about writing this. Wi-Fi super slow on the free version and the 4g signal was pretty patchy and kept dropping out. I think all in alll you do get what you pay for but I won’t be going back.…
