A great value hotel. Pleasant, comfortable & friendly. Great cooked breakfast. Good quality ingredients with especially good bacon - set us up for the day. Seafront just too far to easily walk, although only minutes by car. Room fine but lack of hooks & towel rails in bathroom a niggle.

Stayed here for one night whilst on business in Aberyswyth. Can't say anything bad about the place really apart from it being quite dated. On the other hand however, it certainly is a no thrills hotel. I agree with previous reviews in that it isn't a hotel, more of a guest house B&B. The room was spacious and clean. Everything...

When I arrived I had to ring the bell to check in, which all went smoothly, I had been in the car for hours and just wanted something to eat rather than go out again, but there is no evening food. So I had to drive into the town, which in the end I was pleasd about as I saw...

Everything is done first class at Plas Antaron. The rooms are spacious, the beds are comfortable, the bathrooms are pristine, the breakfast is fresh, large and very nicely cooked and the hosts, John & Gloria, were a pleasure. The grounds are unbelievably kept with the grass like a carpet and the hedges cut to perfection. My wife and I highly...

We stayed here for one night on our sojourn through Wales toward s our main destination of Bluestone. We chose this B&B through TripAdvisor and it suited our purposes well. Although shown as a hotel it is more of a B&B as it doesn't serve meals other than breakfast and currently doesn't have a fully functioning bar although you can...

Attended the hotel today for a full day training course, having travelled the full breadth of Wales, leaving the Welsh/English border at 7am. Arrived at the hotel around 9 20 am rather thirsty after the journey. Asked the gentleman who answered the reception bell if I could buy four coffees for myself and my colleagues. He informed me that no,...

we had a short break staying here recently and we found it to be clean, spacious and light. Our room was perfectly fine for a short stay and whilst we would in all honesty prefer to refer to it as a Guest House, rather than a hotel, in view of the fact that they don't do evening meals, it did...

Well appointed hotel with pleasant staff and tidy rooms. Breakfast was well organised and plentiful which set us up for a days exploration. The room was spacious with the usual tea/coffee facilities but that wasn't automatically replenished over the stay. Having to ask for teabags is a bit awkward. Saying that, nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Aberystwyth...

Found this hotel/guest house extremely comfortable. Large room looking out to the front. Very nice bathroom. Friendly owners. Good breakfast. Pity they don't do evening meals. There is not a bar as such but they will get you a drink from the function room. A bit out from town but getting a taxi is no problem. We had a car...

Staff very attentive and friendly. Family visiting us and for a treat booked day before for afternoon tea. Whilst endeavours were made for my gluten intolerance, the plate was disappointing with shop-bought biscuits and cake. The few other things were ok. The main plate of cakes were also disappointing to the family. Very tough scones and stale biscuits. The other...
