The welcome, food, comfort, quality of everything during my stay was spot on. I was impressed by the place and its cosy feel. I enjoyed breakfast very much, and like the fact that it is an add on choice rather than a part of the fee. My only negative was that the single mattress in my well appointed superb room was, (owing to it not being turned over time I suspect), causing me to roll off the bed. After trying to ignore it, I eventually put a pillow on the side which offset the problem and allowed me to sleep. Once the lovely staff sort that small thing, I will only wax lyrical on all aspects! It certainly won’t stop me returning

Fabulous boutique hotel right on the seafront. Excellent location & service was superb. Made a point of booking a sea view room & so glad we did. Chose room 8, which was the more expensive one but over the moon with room choice. Complimentary glass of bubbly on arrival, delivered to the room was a great little touch. Facilities & standard very good, the double walk-in shower was unique & a cafetière & ground coffee a first for us. Definitely be back.

Stayed one night for business purposes, my first visit for several years. Place as comfortable as ever, room had everything I needed and the location is super handy. Staff were friendly and put on a meal for me and two friends at short notice. The meal was tapas style cold and hot foods, delicious with some lovely wines. Breakfast was a quick continental style affair which I think is reflected in the price of the stay. I understand the restaurant will soon serve dinner at weekends which I’m sure will make the Gwesty even more appealing to many. In summary, same great hotel, now more affordable than it used to be.

Myself and my Son and Daughter visited Aberystwyth and stayed at Gwesty Cymru. This is a very nice hotel on the sea front. It has rooms with a sea view which are wonderful however the rear facing rooms are just as nice. We were rear facing as I had booked at short notice and as we were three my daughter was given a lovely single room which she loved ( she is 17 ). The rooms were excellent and we were given the option not to have clean towels everyday as a saving for the environment. ( If you want clean towels everyday it's no problem of course. ) Some people have commented about no breakfast being available but we found plenty of places to have a breakfast literally a few steps away. (Home Cafe being my favourite.) The hotel has a lovely outdoor seating area with sea views. Overall we had a lovely stay at Gwesty Cymru and Aberystwyth and the surrounding area has alot to offer.
