We planned to stay in the Gors yr eira B&B to catch the ferry to Ireland the next day. We chose it cause it was advertised as pet friendly on HRS and their own website and we had our dog and cat with us. When we arrived there, the host didn't knew we were coming as she didn't catch up...

We were pet friendly by arrangement only. The guest walked straight through to the private quorters of the guest house without ringing the bell or knocking the door . My mother who is a 103 lives and is cared for by us, was lying in her bed, this being the reason for having the curtain to keep that part of...

We visited this guest house as we wanted the be near Zipworld so this was perfect. We were about 10 mins away but that was because we drove slowly so we could take in the breathtaking scenery on the way. The room was cosy and warm with a comfortable bed. The hosts were excellent providing good local knowledge, a friendly...

My 9-year old daughter and I enjoyed staying 2 nights in this guest house. It is in a very quiet and rural location, with fine views of the hills, and it made a welcome change from the usual chain hotels or town / urban guest houses. The property is an excellent base from which to explore north western Wales and...

We travelled from Essex and were looking for a quiet convenient comfortable place to stay as we planned to climb Snowdon the following day. This guest house did NOT disappoint. Upon arrival, we ring the little brass bell and were quickly met by the helpful fella. He showed us our room and told and asked us what time we would...

We loved the location of this guest house as it was definitely rural which is what we like. Our room was lovely as was the en-suite bathroom. The bathroom had plenty of space to put things which is lacking in lots of other places that we have stayed and the towels were a good size and fluffy. Breakfast was excellent...

Great breakfast cooked to order, friendly hosts made us feel welcome. The location is great, we took our two little Jack Russells and went on some lovely walks in the area. Also a great location for the Zip line. Very nice part of Wales.

This was a perfect B&B for our trip to the area, in a great location for all we wanted to do. The owners were really friendly and helpful. A nice breakfast with plenty of choices. It comes well recommended and we would definitely stop here again if we returned to Snowdonia.

“The rating system asks about the swimming pool. Unsurprisingly for a small guest house, there is none. Nonetheless, I have rated the (non-existing) pool as excellent to avoid penalising this splendid location on unreasonable grounds.”
