Lovely room with a beautiful view, great breakfast, lovely location and staff was more than helpful. Would definitely recommend and would definitely return. We stayed in the Lady Eleanor room with a four poster bed, very romantic.

Lovely location. Fairly basic rooms but clean and tidy. However, you could literally hear the conversations of the guests in the rooms next to ours! No glasses for water or anywhere to hang towels. Food in restaurant was pretty good but there was a really long wait for it to arrive and it wasn't even busy. Asked what we wanted...

Fantastic room over looking the River. Lovely and warm and spotlessly clean. Food was second to none. Top marks to the chef. Very friendly staff nothing too much trouble. Not too far from the village .We will definitely be back.

What a lovely hotel with great staff, the setting by the upper reaches of the river Dee is great and it would be appreciated even better in clement weather. Mark the man who seems to be involved with everything is a great guy and nothing is to much trouble for him, we will come back again and recommend this Hotel.

It would be very difficult to fault the Sunday carvery here, have been several times now. The place, service, food all very good; reasonable price. I haven't got any hang ups to mention about this establishment.

Next visit I will sit in the restaurant which looks very smart although the menu is the same as the bar. Very friendly staff and good menu choice. Reasonably priced and good size portion. Would love to...

Firstly can I just say that we very much enjoyed our stay at this wonderfully situated hotel and that we would definitely recommend it to people visiting this area. The staff were excellent ,particularly the two ladies who seemed to be in attendance everywhere and at all times. At reception we had a very friendly welcome and prompt booking in....

We did experience a problem with no hot water but this was resolved to our satisfaction. Public areas a little shabby in places but clean and the staff were efficient and helpful at all times. We visited in March when it was still a bit cold but in summer I can imagine it being very pleasant on the terrace overlooking...
