My husband and I came upon this hotel while searching for somewhere to stay on one of his numerous walking days. We loved everything about it and would definitely recommend it for anyone wanting to get away from it all in beautiful surroundings. The food was great and the staff were all really friendly and helpful. It was made even...

Food at the Britannia is always good. The staff are well trained and pleasant. The owner is a lovely lady. Another place you are advised to book in advance to avoid disappointment. The building to of historical interest. Go and check it out.

It was quirky with plenty of olde worlde charm. The bed was wonderfully comfortable. No shower so had to have a...

Typical hillside pub that serves a good pint. Nothing special inside or out but friendly enough. Lots of cars in the carpark making it look popular. Also a strange decking seating area right on the road. Looks appealing until you try and talk with cars going past at 50+ MPH! Overall a good stop off point but I wouldn't choose...

We had a one-night stay at the Britannia Inn travelling from South Wales to the NorthEast. What a lovely gem! The proprietor and staff were friendly and very accommodating. We had two comfortable and quiet rooms with a beautiful view of the green, rolling valley. Beds comfortable, large bathroom, plenty of light and cozy. Another bonus was good, hot meals...

Have just returned from a brilliant 3 night weekend stay at this superb inn. Ann and all of the staff are welcoming, polite and friendly. We stayed in Room 2, the suite. Half tester bed is so comfortable, shower is powerful and having 2 t.v.'s is great! Service in bar and restaurant is quick and you always get served with...
