Had an excellent fillet steak meal, which was cooked to perfection, washed down with local craft lager. I've been here several times in the past and although it's changed hands, it hasn't lost that touch of class.
We visited here for Sunday lunch recently. We sat outside as it was a lovely day. There were 3 couples and 3 dogs. The menu wasn't vast but what we had was very nice. 4 of us had slow cooked steak with blue cheese &...More

There is a lift to the higher floors, but it was out of order when we visited (April) so I would check with the hotel about this. I can't remember about wheelchair access, but the foyer, lounge & dining rooms were all very spacious, I just can't remember if there are steps or a slope entrance. It is a brilliant hotel and I am already planning a return visit.
