The service provided by the pleasant staff was excellent. The menu and quality of the breakfasts and evening meals was also superb. The bedrooms were adequate but very tired. Maybe the new owners will invest in new flooring and decor.

We stayed in 2015, and had a great time. After we unloaded our stuff in the room, we decided to go and wander around the town centre, looking for dinner and maybe a beer. Lol no. Didn't make it out the hotel. "Hey look guys, the bar's open! Maybe we'll have one here before we go?" Cut to: 3 hours...

we were not expecting to enjoy our visit, arranged as a group, visiting gardens of North Wales with RHS. We had read some bad reviews here on Trip Advisor. However, for a 3 star it was excellent! Our twin room was on first floor, and although decor throughout the hotel was on the dark side, all bedlinen was warm and...

All of the staff here were brilliant. Very attentive and could not do enough for you. They knew what we wanted before we did! Basic hotel but that's fine! Stunning location, stunning views and in a gorgeous little Welsh village. Great food too.

Even though we did not stay overnight, this hotel and its staff deserves a special mention for its hospitality while our family of four spent nearly six hours inside it one rainy and cold afternoon after our rental car experienced a flat tire and Hertz took unacceptably long to coordinate roadside assistance with AA. First, the friendly hotel staff let...

Just returned from a coach trip, many people complained about hotel, Food was watery and tasteless, rooms were very dirty and rundown housekeeping was practically non existent. When we entered our room there was a glass of water and some tablets on the table next to the bed, obviously from the previous guests so room wasn't cleaned properly, and outside the window...
