Staying at The Vagabond was one of the best ideas I've had. The location of the Hostel is really near the train station, so you can arrive here just by walking. On the other hand, the rooms are really large, comfortable and super clean. Moreover, the staff was really lovely, they recommended places to visit, and any doubts you have...

Location, location, location, and add a great host. Rooms as expected, clean and functional, great breakfast, the sausages could be better, but am picking; am not a student. The location is key, and it is perfect, after a great day walking, the bar is perfect for like minded outdoors type. Booked up for next month! Enjoy.

a wonderful start for my 40 days solo backpack trip in UK. you will be welcomed with wonderful smile for sure. great location with wonderful hilly green lush at the backdrop and small stream just across the road, though you can't see it, you will be able hear the water running at silent night, making you feel close to the...

A yearly event for us and still a value for money stay as a large group. Some of the rooms looked a bit tired this time around and need new decor. Breakfast was good with ample toast, tea and filter coffee, along with a fried option as well. For a weekend, there wasn't much alcohol behind the bar, so regrettably...

Stayed with 13 other guys. Very comfortable and warm. No noise. Good bar area, diner and kitchen. Staff are very accommodating. Down side was the showers on are on the ground floor and drying room is tight but that's really no big deal and the sausage for breakfast could be better in Wales. Overall a decent priced bunkhouse with great...

It’s a bunkhouse so I didn't expect a lot, but at the very least it would have been nice for my booking over the phone to have been gratefully received (I was practically shouted at for making a separate booking to my friends). It would also have been nice to have been offered a smile or even just an acknowledgement...

When we arrived the building to check in and it was empty.. about 15 minutes later a lady arrived to let us in. She told us we could only stay in the room we booked (with a double bed) for one night as it was taken for the following. We specifically booked that room and would have appreciated being told...

Great sized rooms, clean and tidy with excellent wifi. Great staff who can't do enough for you. The breakfast is fantastic value for money, with complimentary tea and coffee . Plenty of showers and toilets, the water is red hot too. Pets allowed in the rooms if you're not sharing!
