I planned a very last minute trip to go to climb Tryfan. The team there really were forgiving on a bank holiday, so warm and cheerful as well. The room was lovely, amazingly comfortable king size bed in room 5. Thank you so much for our brief time, I'll definitely be back.

All that has been said about the Glenwood I can confirm. Right from the start with coffee and welsh cakes Sid and Marie made us welcome. The rooms are clean and have all the facilities one needs. Very comfortable and would have loved to use the garden had it not rained. Highly recommended

Have just returned from a fantastic 2 night stay at the Glenwood Guesthouse. The guest house is on the edge of the village so is a very quiet location but still only a 6-7 minute walk to the centre. We were welcomed on arrival with tea, coffee and Welsh cakes which was a really lovely touch as the weather was...

When we arrived we were given a warm welcome and advised on local surroundings and the many ways up Snowdon. There was plenty of off road parking, the road was quiet and the town...

We arrived early one morning having had our tent blow away with us inside during a storm at midnight the previous night. We had spent the night in the car as the tent was broken, we were extremely tired, sore and very cold and found that the Glenwood had spaces for the next 3 nights. From the moment we arrived...

This is the best Guest House that I have stayed in and would recommend the Glenwood to anyone. Wish we had stayed longer and wouln't...

From the time we arrived nothing was to much trouble. It was the little touches, which made our stay more enjoyable . Good quality bed linen, extra's in the bathroom. Quality produce used for breakfast, and good portions. Good location, ideally situated with shops and restaurants within 5 minutes walking distance. Can understand now why they receive such good reviews....
